Welcome to the EastEnders spoilers thread, where we post and talk about any EE spoilers we've read about, including those in early release episodes on iPlayer.

Link below to watch episodes on BBC iPlayer - these are usually dropped at 6am on broadcast days - and you can read brief synopses of upcoming episodes:

Lexi was spending a lot of time round Phil's with him, did the film with him, and he mistook her for Clare a lot. It was more believable than Nicola agreeing to visit, and Lauren being bothered.

I was hoping Joel would return reformed so he could stay on longer term. It worked for Bobby Beale. But Joel hasn't been away long enough for that to happen.

But he may have had a quick ‘turn round’ because this is EE world and I think this is why he ends up living in the square again, because Vicky and Ross have fallen for it.

Saying that, she's an annoying brat and could do with a spell in the kiddy cupboard. They could let Lily and Jordan out in exchange like a hostage negotiation.

I thought that was rediculous as well.
So much for Phils promise to get her from school
Everyone seemed to forget that

The kid gets too much attention.

Shellingbynight · 30/04/2026 14:18

Lexi saw quite a lot of Nigel because he was living with Phil, and she was very good with him when he (inevitably) thought she was Clare.

South yes I'm sure Joel will sincerely promise he is reformed and Ross will fall for it, but he won't be (unlike Bobby who genuinely was). It just means Joel's time is quite limited doesn't it.

I agree - I was also surprised Linda turned up near 'the end'. She doesn't really know him does she? I'm glad Yolande was there because she was very supportive of Nigel in the earlier days of his return.

the80sweregreat · 30/04/2026 14:23

Lexi went with Yolande, so maybe Phil just forgot that he’d get her or had already spoken to Callum and arranged for him to take her. Either way, he forgot his promise from the day before.

I think Nigel was involved with Linda and Grant when Phil had his last breakdown? could be wrong though.

the80sweregreat · 30/04/2026 14:27

Yep, Linda helped Phil and met up with Nigel last year , so I could see why she visited him.
Phil is also her sponsor , so visiting as a friend of his too.

Southeastdweller · 30/04/2026 14:39

Yes, I can’t see him and Ross staying long term.

Either way, it was so well done at the end that I'm prepared to let it slide.

Big of me I know... 🤣

Shellingbynight · 30/04/2026 15:17

Yes of course, Linda's connection is with Phil.

South, we know Spencer is returning don't we? So if Ross and Joel exit, he can fight Zack for Vicki😆

the80sweregreat · 30/04/2026 16:34

Really don’t care about Vicki or her love life tbh.
I wish they could give her a job and a life that doesn’t involve moaning at people or messing them about.
She has potential, but it’s always the same old thing isn’t it.

the80sweregreat · 30/04/2026 16:35

Loved the music today. (Made me play a few old numbers doing dinner! )
Phil has so many people looking out for him, he is lucky really.

I’d rather have Vicki than Zoe.

Yes, but that's like saying I'd rather have recurring thrush over scabies.

Not a great choice.

murasaki · 30/04/2026 16:45

The 'dance like Nigel' bit was joyous. I sofa bopped.

the80sweregreat · 30/04/2026 16:50

Yes, I agree that Vicki is more interesting than Zoe tbf.

MyWildOliveGoose · 30/04/2026 17:00

“OAP hook up club” 😂😂😂 Lauren always makes me laugh out loud , she and Peter have facial expressions down too.

the80sweregreat · 30/04/2026 17:01

Lauren is funny isn’t she! They are bringing in some humour to lighten the moods.
She so fancies Mark , I don’t blame her though ( too young for me.. lol)😆

the80sweregreat · 30/04/2026 17:02

Mo’s comment about Julie was funny too.

murasaki · 30/04/2026 17:05

Jaq Jossa has a very mobile face, which is great for Lauren's sarkiness. I hope she stays clear of botox.

I’m so glad to have so many Brannings on the square.. Sunday lunch at the Brannings is now one of my all time fave episodes I think.

MyWildOliveGoose · 30/04/2026 17:09

I also want Linda and Phil to fall in love and live happy ever after.
