The next series starts on the 21st April. Looking forward to banquettes, and bizarre paint choices, and upcycling of old junk. DD and I are rewatching the old series and I’d forgotten how crazy some of the rooms were!

I speak from bitter experience - when we moved into our house, the owners had painted the kitchen tiles (badly) and let their small child put handprints on some of them in a clashing colour. I'm scarred for life as a result.

It’s like they’ve all gone backwards after last weeks reasonable job.

By this time in the series I feel like we're left with pretty solid competent designers, these people are a bit rubbish, wasting time on silly time consuming ideas, and just coming up with crap that looks like it's either meant to be in a student bedsit or a Cbeebies set.
