Interior design masters new series - let the battle commence

The next series starts on the 21st April. Looking forward to banquettes, and bizarre paint choices, and upcycling of old junk. DD and I are rewatching the old series and I’d forgotten how crazy some of the rooms were!

Also eagerly awaiting this OP. Some of the stuff they do, I think 'yeah that looks great, I'll try it out' but never do.

Oh yay! I really love this series. It’s just sunshine niceness. Whilst some of the ideas might be slightly iffy, I love that people are so enthusiastic about making things.

I'm really ashamed to admit that I've been looking this up over the last month trying to find a start date. I could do with some inspiration.

For me this show tells me spring is here and it hasn't felt like spring yet. Crikey that's sad, isn't it?

I do hope they get more than their lunch money to do up the rooms in this series.

In my rewatch I’m up to the series with Francesca and Ben. Firstly I’d forgotten how annoying Ben was (and I remember him coming on to the thread to chastise us all for being mean) he clearly thinks he’s hilarious.

This is the first series where I think the budget became a real issue. I don’t know if it was cut or if prices just rose a lot but they never have enough to do anything decent. Previously the contestants had upcycled furniture etc but still had enough for the basics like paint. This time round they are really struggling for everything.
