I think Alan sees a bit of himself in Kieran. Plus, of course, he makes good telly.

Conversate? What does that mean? Dan is so pointless.

Conversate is an informal, colloquial if you prefer, verb, meaning to have a conversation.
I quite like Dan.

I disagree, it's a word people with poor vocabulary use to make themselves sound clever. It doesn't work.

I also quite like Dan.

I'd never heard 'conversate' before this series! It seems a bit of a pointless verb to me because the standard 'converse' is one syllable shorter but I'll always think of Dan if I hear it in the future 😆

Disagree all you like. That's the standard definition of the word converse.
@IHeartMyTissues I didn't even know Dan had used it. I thought it was just being used here to be informal. Light hearted, even.

I was using it lightheartedly in homage to this series 😆It's prompted an interesting discussion, though.

It's a terrible word in my opinion. And Dan is so useless. He does nothing but complains a lot.

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but you know when the losers go to the caff for a cup of tea? Well, they get a cut of tea. But this series it seems that the winners get bugger all, unless they get to the end.

Slightly off topic but the "conversate" chat has reminded me that I keep seeing "addicting" online. What's wrong with "addictive"?

Dan has Aspergers, which explains a lot. He is a nice guy, must have been hard for him in there with the game players like Kieran. He also said he suffered racial bullying at school. I didn’t clock that he wasn’t a white guy. He said he was the only brown kid in his village in Derbyshire. He isn’t cut throat enough for this process. Although that guy with the curved nail file did okay for himself and he was a similar guy.

Is it tragic that I'm looking forward to tonight's episode and it's only 20 past 7 in the morning? 😆

@IHeartMyTissues we have MIL staying with us tonight, not sure she will appreciate it 😂 Fingers crossed she will go to bed reasonably early so we can watch on catch up (and avoid this thread) We usually have to be careful when messaging DS at uni, as he usually watches it about half an hour behind. It will be his turn to be careful what he says!

Definitely. This is the only reason he’s still there because sugar favours him ( and looks a bit like him when you look at AS back in the day)

AS used to have a shop near where I live ( he literally started off selling stuff out of his car/van 😂) and I always remember the older guys recalling the days where he used to rip them off something silly buying and selling music equipment so yeah, definitely a Del Boy

Karren looks so different from when she started, and Tim has had a glow up (with a questionable track suit). But Alan has had a face lift since the last series. His little sharpei face is not so baggy. This may have been picked up earlier in thread, I have dipped in and out.

I'm exhausted from MAFS...hope this is a gentle one tonight 😂

Lord Shugs is definitely having tweaks...probably why he invested in that Dr Leah's business! To be fair tho, why wouldn't he, everyone else is.
