The Final - Tonight!
From the wintery depths of January to the full bloom of an April spring, we have followed the 20 candidates for 12 weeks as, from Georgina and Nikki (who?) to Dan, they have been whittled down to two.
Karishma - runaway favourite, seldom put a foot wrong in the tasks and showed up strongly in the interviews. Owner of an established and profit-turning skincare business, selling acne-clearing rosehip oil online. A crowded market but she made a convincing case for her product's USPs when challenged by Mike Souter. Her numbers in the business plan were wobbly and, in the tasks, she suffered occasionally from an inability to listen to her team and follow advice, but overall has consistently been the strongest candidate.
Pascha - outsider. Not conspicuous in the tasks but did well in the interviews and seems well-liked by the candidates. Her business proposition, a recruitment agency for workers in the care industry, is only at the concept stage, but she has sound experience in this field. It could be very profitable, but will Lord Sugar value a mere idea at £250k, and would his investment even be enough to get it off the ground?
We all thought we'd see Dan in the Final, so strange things can happen and the outsider might sneak home - who knows?
We'll also see the return of some favourites and not-so-favourites Levi to 'help' our Finalists tonight.
