I think Alan is right that Caroline shouldn't be asking for money from her mother.

And Kate is moving faster than Caroline likes. That is, she is not in control.

I should think that Caroline will be terribly unhappy about Kate's idea of a natural conception....a bit of a myth I understand from a Radio 4 documentary about these matters.

Kate wants to get going about a baby and Caroline back peddling by pointing out how difficult that can be etc

Ah, so the baby was Robbie's. How on earth must that make Robbie feel?

Here we go, blaming Gillian, blaming the mum again.

Gillian's going to need therapy over all of this stuff soon, what a tangled family web.

Celia seems to make a good few mistakes. I do feel for Gillian over all of this.
