Gillian does seem a bit over the top about this. Turning on Celia too which seems a bit sudden since all along she has been happy with her.

Oh, my goodness...Caroline is indeed very self-centred. So, her mother needs to giver her a £100,000 and poor Kate doesn't realise she's going to be expected to sell her house and fund Caroline's buy out...what a cheek!

Gosh, on their wedding day, Caroline is suggesting Celia and Alan give her £100k so that she can buy John out. Tactful or what.
