We've just started watching this, way after everybody else. But isn't it great? Last night was the one in series 2 with the ATM.

Spin off El Camino worth watching. Also Bob Odenkirk (Saul) did a fantastic film in 2021 called Nobody. Very good actor.
We started watching Bryan Cranston in Your Honour but couldn't get into it.

you dont but it does add a bit of context at times

personally i prefer Better Call Saul, and Gus better

they also made a sequal to nobody

Breaking Bad has the most perfect ending of any show I’ve ever seen. The final scene is etched into my mind forever.

BB is a masterpiece. I watch it every year with my DS and I get something different from it everytime.

Like someone upthread I realised Walt is an absolute raging narcissistic psychopath and Skylar is the victim after repeated viewings.

Walt is my ex to the point that I feel nauseous watching some scenes. His entitlement and ego are off the charts. Bryan Cranston deserved every award he received for that role. He absolutely nailed it.

Absolutely love BB, my favourite episode is with the aeroplane and the flight controller. I won’t say more as I don’t want to cause a spoiler!

I completely agree, I’ve watched it at least 10 times and see different things, and my opinion on the characters has completely changed from the first watch.

@Thesummer yes !!! I’d Forgotten about Skinny Pete ❤️ thank you for reminding me , he was such a character, and it’s strange I have seen neither of those actors in anything since. I need a rewatch

You would love Animal Kingdom I think it’s streaming on Netflix now it’s been described as sons of anarchy meets point break. It’s truly excellent, remake of an Australian film starring Ben Mendelsohn.

Loved it so much. Binged it when it first came out, think I subscribed to Netflix specially to watch it on a friends recommendation and I wasn’t disappointed.

Don’t think I could ever rewatch it though. Maybe if I had lots of spare time.

But do much of it was the shock and suspense and the twists.

Just unbelievable. All of it.

We still reference it a lot in our house.

Just started watching Better Call Saul. I love that feeling of starting something that I know I can binge. Thanks for recommending!

There's a spoof alternate ending on the dvd boxset, where Hal (malcolm in the middle) wakes up and it was all a bad dream 😆

Absolutely agree. Better call Saul is the best thing I've ever seen. Strange how the first episode dragged though.
