I don't think this team really had hopes to be in with the medals, they are a relatively 'new'- but I'm sure they would have liked to get through the round robin stage.

Just listening to Radio 2 and the Elaine Page musical show with Michelle Visage presenting. She mentioned that back in the eighties, for ice dancing, teams chose a medley of tunes with different tempos etc. Torville and Dean were the first to pick one complete tune, the overture to Mork and Mindy. (Non Olympic year)

Not really, from what I've read- Jen is the only one left of the the gold winning team from 2022(she's highly ranked in the mixed event) and they have won things over the last 4 years, but they only have Rebecca Morrison in the top 50 of the rankings(unlike the men, where Bruce Mouat tops the men's rankings).

From 'Mack and Mabel', T and D performed 'I won't send roses' as a gala performance. It's still one of my favourites dances they ever did- it makes me cry .

I am just catching up on my daily Olympic fix and another gold! I remember when snowboarding cross was first introduced and it seemed so anarchic and fun and now we are winning gold at it!
