I too am confused by the emergence of another ice skating competition - I thought we were all done after the pairs, the quad falling men and the bald coach that wore 14
different coats in the kiss and cry.

Yes it’s pairs free tonight for the medals, pairs is different to ice dance as it incorporates higher lifts and jumps. Then we have the women’s individual competition. The gala on Saturday is unlikely to be on BBC but I’ll be watching it on TNT. It seems Ilia Malinin is preparing an exhibition skate on mental health, possibly to ‘Fear’ by NF.

Fab - thanks! We have TNT so I’ll set a reminder for the gala - I will never complain about my partner taking all the sports packages on Sky again. It’s more than paying its way at the moment!
