Well, we soared through the last thread again, so here's a shiny new one!

Corrie is pretty much based around the tragic death of Billy at the moment. Bernie is starting to lose the plot a bit, and ended up in a hotel room with a strange man who is the husband of someone Roy has been chatting to. (It's all a bit confusing!!!) Then she ended up unconcious in the ladies toilets!

Todd and Theo are still together - annoyingly - and Carl (Debbie's brother) has just heard Theo blabbing to Billy in his coffin how he's not a murderer, and he should have saved him, and so on. A guilty conscience, or self pity? (I'm guessing the latter.) Carl was listening (conveniently!) and smirked when he heard Theo 'confessing,' but I'm not sure what he's going to do with the information. Especially as shortly after, Theo saw Carl doing some dodgy dealing with some blokes, and he photographed him. So, they now have 'something' on each other!

Not much happening with the Driscolls at the moment, and Ma Driscoll and Eva have called a truce. But for how long???

Shona and David's new little baby (Harper) is still a bit fragile.

Shiny faced Megan Trainer the Siren who has men (and boys) eating out of her hand, is showing an unpleasant, dark side, after practically threatening Sam (Nick's son) if he blabs anything about her and Will.

And Carla and Lisa have inexplicably made up, as if nothing has happened. On the plus side however, at least we have got rid of the dreadful Undead Becky storyline.

Probably some more bits and bobs to discuss, but I'm sure we'll get to them soon.

I must admit I did laugh (in last night's episode,) when the pile of newspapers were dumped by Lily, and Will and Megan Trainer saw her do it, and Megan said to Will 'hopefully your Conker Monthly isn't in there.' 😆

Then again, it did illustrate that she knows deep down that he's a boy, and not a man. 😬

Why did Lily dump those newspapers? She won’t get paid now. Silly girl

I remember watching Marti Caine on TV when I was a child and I'm in my 50's.

Where is Audrey? Is she staying with Gail? Are the Platts staying in her house? The Alf mayoral picture is there, but it looks very different and much pokier than Audrey's Grasmere Drive on current Classic Coronation Street.

I'm sure I recently saw a teen dump a load of Kabin newspapers in a bin on Classic recently. It was probably David!

@zanahoria Sam wasn't letting himself into his teacher's flat though, he was letting himself into his step-mother's flat. But what he did when he got there is weird, yes 😆 You'd notice that camera the first minute you walked in though.

Audrey is supposed still with Gail, two months after going to see her.

I thought it was a bit odd that he just let himself in without ringing and that Leanne just gave him spare keys without telling Megan. Although the cameras are much worse, it is illegal to place them where people have a reasonable expectation of privacy i.e. their own homes. Sam is heading for trouble.

C'mon Ronnie and Kev beat up Carl! he is one slimy nasty piece of work.

Sam looks so different now now he's lost weight.

Has it been explained how the new sister of Shona arrived and was in a van with Graham from Emmerdale....she is shady!

It isn't illegal to put a camera in a living area, loads of people have Nest type cameras to check on their pets - obviously you don't go around putting cameras in other people's houses, but it's effectively Sam's own (second) home isn't it, I thought Nick asked him where he wanted to stay the other night?

I agree it is seriously weird, but it is a lot less weird than Megan shagging 16 year olds.

I’m actually warming to Ma Driscoll and hope she stays. She did make me laugh with the ‘She’s no Marti Caine’ ( who I remember & I’m 62 )

Audrey sold Grasmere Drive to pay for the repairs to the Platt house. She lives there now.

I used to love the way Audrey said 'Grasmere Drive' as if it were Buckingham Palace

Although nobody else seemed impressed, there were times when the Platt household was full to the rafters but nobody ever went to Grasmere Drive

Was that a new-head-Joseph sitting with Hope and Chesney in the cafe at the start? Or a (we haven’t see for a while) more-grown-Joseph?

I think it was just that Joseph has hit puberty ! Looks much more grown up . Also looks much more similar now to this twin sister irl - Hope .

The one I don’t like much is Ma Driscoll’s son ( don’t know his name ) He seems far too loud and uncouth for Eve , who seems fairly level headed! I don’t know character back stories that well though.

80s I wouldn't say Eva is level headed! She and Ben don't seem to have much chemistry though.

Eva comes across as far nicer than the man she is with ! That Ben seems too much of a thug.

The whole family resort to violence very quickly don't they - Ma, Ben and Will. Ollie is the only one who keeps his fists to himself.
