Well, we soared through the last thread again, so here's a shiny new one!

Corrie is pretty much based around the tragic death of Billy at the moment. Bernie is starting to lose the plot a bit, and ended up in a hotel room with a strange man who is the husband of someone Roy has been chatting to. (It's all a bit confusing!!!) Then she ended up unconcious in the ladies toilets!

Todd and Theo are still together - annoyingly - and Carl (Debbie's brother) has just heard Theo blabbing to Billy in his coffin how he's not a murderer, and he should have saved him, and so on. A guilty conscience, or self pity? (I'm guessing the latter.) Carl was listening (conveniently!) and smirked when he heard Theo 'confessing,' but I'm not sure what he's going to do with the information. Especially as shortly after, Theo saw Carl doing some dodgy dealing with some blokes, and he photographed him. So, they now have 'something' on each other!

Not much happening with the Driscolls at the moment, and Ma Driscoll and Eva have called a truce. But for how long???

Shona and David's new little baby (Harper) is still a bit fragile.

Shiny faced Megan Trainer the Siren who has men (and boys) eating out of her hand, is showing an unpleasant, dark side, after practically threatening Sam (Nick's son) if he blabs anything about her and Will.

And Carla and Lisa have inexplicably made up, as if nothing has happened. On the plus side however, at least we have got rid of the dreadful Undead Becky storyline.

Probably some more bits and bobs to discuss, but I'm sure we'll get to them soon. Smile

He’s given him a massive love bite 🤢 and hurt his neck in process the animal.
Where pray was Frankeh tonight ? Another mother getting pissed ! Seems to be a pattern here!
Jodie please fuck off sooooooo bored with this never ending boring storyline and believe me there’s been quite a few on Corrie recently. Sam on drugs …… give me strength 🙈

A LOVE bite? Theo gave Todd a LOVE bite?! WTF? Is he 14?! 😂

Also agree about the wayward mothers on Corrie, and I dislike Jodie, and now Sam on drugs! ARGH! It was starting to get quite good over the past few months too!

That storyline is annoying. Lauren idolised Frankie, she was glued to him. It would have been nice to see her grow into a strong single mother, working hard to give him a better life. She might as well have let the grandparents have him!

OnTheBoardwalk · 11/02/2026 22:24

I had a friend who was in an abusive relationship and he absolutely removed her from her friendship and family groups, even managed to get her redundancy from work (they never admit sometimes they go on performance because he was ringing her complaining 5 times a day so was on the list)

he told me she’d pushed everyone away and fell out with them all apart from you. I told him that could never happen

what doesn’t feel true about the Todd story is he has a lot of support around him. Please end this now

eggandonion · 11/02/2026 23:09

Wasn't Sam's mum murdered by the drugs gang or was she just murdered by criminals? That was pointless. She could have run the hairdressers. I think Audrey should retire.

Is it just me but is the Todd storyline getting tiresome.

Yes I agree. Been dragging on too long now.
looked like Theo was strangling Todd during sex because he ‘missed him so much’

zanahoria · 11/02/2026 23:27

So Ollie dated DeeDee and now Lauren.

Isn't it a bit weird that he would go out with both women who were abused and impregnated by Joel?

That's what I thought too. Love bites don't leave an instant brown bruise. Theo may be getting violent in the bedroom with Todd. 😠

Natasha was lovely

I never understood why they wrote her out in the first place

Or why Nick would dump her

That does seem absurd

He will overdose and end up in an ambulance

As everyone overdoses and ends up in an ambulance when they take drugs on Corrie

Indianajet · 11/02/2026 23:35

I am recording it and fast forwarding through the Todd/Theo parts - I just want Todd to walk out!

zanahoria · 11/02/2026 23:40

Lauren must really like Ollie

She ditched her tracksuit and wore a nice top

Illjusthavethebreadsticks · 12/02/2026 00:20

Could have done without the dev and Bernie sex antics

Illjusthavethebreadsticks · 12/02/2026 00:21

Mal lurking outside while dev and Bernie chase each other round the lounge was like a carry on film.

Justpolly · 12/02/2026 01:24

Lauren looked really different and very pretty at the Bistro. But I’m confused by Ollie and his women though. From hotshot lawyer Deedee Bailey to surly barmaid Lauren? How old is Ollie meant to be, because surely there is quite a discrepancy in age, apart from anything else, between Deedee and Lauren. Whilst Joel also went with both women that was kind of explained by his pervy personality. As a lawyer Deedee was his equal, and an appropriate partner, whereas he could indulge his darker side by dominating and abusing a young, naive teenager. So Ollie also going out with both of them seems rather strange to me.

Shellingbynight · 12/02/2026 08:18

@Illjusthavethebreadsticks yes, that was very Carry on Matron!

I looked up Ollie's age when he was going out with DeeDee as she seemed a lot older than him. DeeDee was 30, I think he was around 26. And Lauren is 20.

I'm watching on itvx and doing a lot of fast forwarding.

Gingercar · 12/02/2026 08:46

Gosh DeeDee looked a lot older than 30. Perhaps because she acted older.

HaddyAbrams · 12/02/2026 10:04

Lauren looks different, like she's had her lips done maybe?

I think usually Corrie put a lot of effort into making that pretty young actress look rather grubby..

Ollie had been on my diminishing list of nice characters but will have to tag him as a possible weirdo pretending to be nice - and they are the worst kind!

AnnieLummox · 12/02/2026 10:33

Where pray was Frankeh tonight ?

I did laugh when she oh-so-casually said “Yeah, I can get a sitter”. From where? 😄 She already must be having to organise childcare most evenings because of her job - is it that easily available that she can afford it on her night off too?

Wendy Crozier!

Where does Lauren even live?

How do you find out how old the characters are please?

He could also move back into Eileen’s. He’s not short of places to stay.

It’s reminding me a bit of that frustrating time when Sean was living homeless on the streets - he had lots of friends, lots of options and the type of personality that wouldn’t have felt awkward asking someone if he could stay with them - but, no, they made his character homeless instead. Even though he is the type that wears designer style shirts and seems the least likely person to opt for homelessness over a roof over his head!

Agree! The Sean homeless story was ridiculous!

zanahoria · 12/02/2026 11:49

Even the characters are noticing the service in the cafe is atrocious now.

Not only does Jodie lie about lasagne, she is too lazy to make porridge.

When DeeDee first started dating Ollie she questioned if she wanted to carry on seeing him because he was really rude/slightly aggressive to someone who served him in the bistro, and it took her back to how Joel was. He was a very odd character when he first came into it I found. He was a bit too pushy with DeeDee and would just appear where she was. Then they seemed to forget that slightly weird side to him, and they then just made a boring, mundane pairing. So I wouldn’t be surprised at all if there is something sinister about Ollie. His family aren’t the most functional, his brother is hooked up with a paedo and their birth mother is never really mentioned. Maybe they both have “mummy issues” 🤷🏻‍♀️.
