Welcome to Thread 12 of Traitors 2026 - possibly the final thread for this series
😵‍💫 < me after managing all these threads!

The title’s not very snappy but I think I’ve covered all requests!

This thread runs at TV pace so do not read any further if you are not up to date with the live broadcast. Whilst most discussion will be on the current series, inevitably people will refer to previous series/players/winners so reader beware if you’ve not seen the 3 previous editions, or the celebrity version.

While we welcome posters discussing their theories and speculating on relationships/connections between players, please don’t post spoilers from elsewhere that may ruin things for those of us who like to see things unfold over the course of the series.

The story so far - this is a mid episode thread change so do not read on if you are not up to date with the live broadcast!

Just another quick thought, can I suggest someone (not me!) creates a separate thread for the Irish Traitors so that no one can accidentally stumble across spoilers.

Rainbowsnake has put one up. Enjoy your darkened room, you have earned it.

After her great outfits in the castle I’m a little disappointed by Rachel’s hair tonight! She needs the bow or the earrings, not both.

Yes awful outfit - worst ever - the bow is overkill and doesn’t go

Jades dad is a billionaire isn’t he?

Don’t know about billionaire but his job at HSBC was the 7 figure salary level and his entire career was in that space. (7 figures back then)

100% agree with this and pretty ironic coming from a forum such as this

Of course - women internalise Mysogyny and act it out against other women

Not to the people who counted.

I couldn't stand him either.

Harry deserves to win over the girl he was with. She made Jaz lose (even though he close coed the traitor), which is just stupid.

Not a fan of Harry but she didn’t deserve to win anything, why was she in the final? Another Jack, coasting by and only made it by being completely naive.

I'd absolutely trust Rachel. She seems very professional, direct, balanced and focused to me.

I'd hate to work with her or for her. She doesn't come across as a people person and came acfross as unlikeable. A worthy winner although the comments she made about Stephen having to answer to her if he betrayed her were unhinged.

At the end, Stephen had people who genuinely liked him and referred to him as a friend. Rachel was on her own.
She might have had a friend or two in there who left earlier Stephen had friends who left as well as people who liked him right to the end. He was far more likeable.

brunettemic · 23/01/2026 23:00

Fair play to Rachel and Stephen, they did brilliantly but I can’t stand either of them. She’s so arrogant and full of herself and he’s so overly dramatic about everything, the amount of times his hands flew to his face in shock was painful.

Tiddlywinky · 23/01/2026 23:01

Liquoriceallsortsmadear · 23/01/2026 22:56

I think it was Ellie she said it to

Yes, you are right

PeonyPatch · 23/01/2026 23:01

Also didn’t like Rachel’s outfit on unclothed. The earrings, the bow, the dress! All looked cheap!

EggyCustard · 23/01/2026 23:01

No, I don’t think it’s this. Rachel came across very cunning and calculating, an almost exceptional liar. And rather stern in some of her interrogations at TK round table.

I think in the final, people have warmed(?) to her as she showed loyalty to Stephen.

I didn’t like either of them to start, but I’ve softened to them both. Better than Jack anyway, so best of a bad bunch lmao

Exactly. Rachel’s only friend was Roxy. Faraz was groomed towards the end too. Both s bit pathetic really.
Whereas Stephen was liked by everyone.

I would recommend the Irish Traitors, it was very good!

I disagree - you are viewing it that way

it’s not been viewed that way when men do it - on this programme and elsewhere

CharlotteRumpling · 23/01/2026 23:07

Which players do you think have come out well and which have done themselves no favours?
For me, those who have come out well
Rachel
Stephen
Jessie
Harriet ( until she lost it)
James ( tho not for being smart)

Those who haven't
Jack
Faraaz
Fiona
Jade
Amanda
Matthew
Roxy
Practically everyone else!

Liquoriceallsortsmadear · 23/01/2026 23:07

She showed loads of integrity from the start then all the way through

Well, it’s not misogyny regardless. Even Harry the massive traitor came across as friendly day to day. Rachel admits to being competitive and is clearly ruthless, hence her success. Others have noted the round table antics already - with Jade, Ross, Ellie etc.

I agree she was a very easy liar and did try and manipulate peoples emotions. I dont think she would have shown loyalty to Stephen if she had a choice. Having said that, I thought they deserved to win, and no one really knows them irl. The remaining faithfuls didnt really deserve to win. Jade was clueless throughout and was so focused on how she was being set up that she didnt think through anything atvall. She was still going on about it on Uncloaked. She really was kept in because she was ineffectual, and Jack and Faz were like a clown show in the end- they couldnt organise themselves at all.

They were an excellent team - she was calm under pressure and had the people skills while he was good at strategising.

Hesperatum · 23/01/2026 23:11

Rachel played a brilliant game - a worthy winner along with Stephen. I hope the next series doesn’t have the double dagger or too many new twists. Be careful not to over egg the pudding!

Also if you watched the turrets - Stephen is a the person who did most of the talking around who to put against who and did loads of the talking around decisions - nobody thought him cunning etc - Rachel was more passive

your posts are internalised mysogeny in action - Stephen did equal
amounts or even more!

Harry made Mollie believe he was in love with her. Then he promised her a holiday which he never gave her.

Find it baffling that Rachel is considered more ruthless than Harry for doing her job.
