Welcome to Thread 12 of Traitors 2026 - possibly the final thread for this series
😵‍💫 < me after managing all these threads!

The title’s not very snappy but I think I’ve covered all requests!

This thread runs at TV pace so do not read any further if you are not up to date with the live broadcast. Whilst most discussion will be on the current series, inevitably people will refer to previous series/players/winners so reader beware if you’ve not seen the 3 previous editions, or the celebrity version.

While we welcome posters discussing their theories and speculating on relationships/connections between players, please don’t post spoilers from elsewhere that may ruin things for those of us who like to see things unfold over the course of the series.

The story so far - this is a mid episode thread change so do not read on if you are not up to date with the live broadcast!

OP posts:
NCTDN · 23/01/2026 21:06

That mission did not give anyone any clues as to who could be a traitor though.

CharlotteRumpling · 23/01/2026 21:06

That was cruel and unnecessary.

Staringintothevoid616 · 23/01/2026 21:06

If find the helicopter the worst bit

CarminaBiryani · 23/01/2026 21:06

I wonder if they change the task to make it more challenging I.e. shorter time limit, if they have fitter players left.

JaneJeffer · 23/01/2026 21:06

Just get on with it 🥱

pouletvous · 23/01/2026 21:06

Wonder how many hours that took to film?

the safety briefings etc

SunandWine · 23/01/2026 21:06

Some very canny editting there.

RayonSunrise · 23/01/2026 21:07

Rachel’s going to win - the edit is SO sympathetic to her in this.

CharlotteRumpling · 23/01/2026 21:07

Jade seemed to enjoy it anyway.

Oneforallandallforone · 23/01/2026 21:07

I agree Stephen will win.
I think Rachel would play as a team up to the point of Stephen throwing her under the bus but Stephen isn't/wasn't ever planning to. He's so strategic. Impressive really. Unfair too though as she kept him in when she could have let him be banished. But then it suited her to keep him as she was the ringleader at the start and he was happy to let her be the ringleader at the beginning too.

murasaki · 23/01/2026 21:07

Rachel really does seem to want to split it. Stephen less so.

peacefulpeach · 23/01/2026 21:07

That was actually very very dangerous. Idiotic. You’d think the bbc would have learned by now.

Onetimeusername1 · 23/01/2026 21:07

@SunandWine what do you mean?

the80sweregreat · 23/01/2026 21:07

All we needed there was foxy Fox and Billy from the SAS show.

LighthouseLED · 23/01/2026 21:07

For those asking about cardigan yarn, it’s unspun roving. Means it has no durability as the strength in wool comes from when it’s spun.

pouletvous · 23/01/2026 21:06

Wonder how many hours that took to film?

the safety briefings etc

I'd rather have done that than hang round the castle all day, though

AlwaysRightISwear · 23/01/2026 21:07

Horrifying challenge.

pouletvous · 23/01/2026 21:07

If i were in Rachel’s shoes, id have no idea!

Starandflowers · 23/01/2026 21:07

That was a great mission. Loved that even though I would have crapped myself at the thought of doing it

Come on Rachel!!!!

Shutuptrevor · 23/01/2026 21:08

Would they have sent Fiona over the edge of that dam if she’d stayed in?? I can’t imagine her coping with it (nor would I)

murasaki · 23/01/2026 21:08

Interesting point from Jade.

IWantToHibernate · 23/01/2026 21:08

IHadaMarvelousTimeRuiningEverything · 23/01/2026 21:05

Harry is definitely the best traitor the UK have had imo

And Minah. I believe if Minah was a white man and acted the exact same way, she would have won.

I don’t think Harry would have won if it wasn’t for Molly’s crush on him.

Needtosoundoffandbreathe · 23/01/2026 21:08

Staringintothevoid616 · 23/01/2026 21:06

If find the helicopter the worst bit

I'd love to fly in a helicopter.

Rachel did not catch Fiona in a lie.

At this rate the faithful have had it.

dapsnotplimsolls · 23/01/2026 21:08

FFS, don't go for Faraaz!

BlueLimes · 23/01/2026 21:08

I think they still trust Steven too much. Hoping Faraaz was just thinking ‘shut up Rachel’ which we do in the Lime house whenever Rachel speaks.
