Welcome to Thread 12 of Traitors 2026 - possibly the final thread for this series
😵‍💫 < me after managing all these threads!

The title’s not very snappy but I think I’ve covered all requests!

This thread runs at TV pace so do not read any further if you are not up to date with the live broadcast. Whilst most discussion will be on the current series, inevitably people will refer to previous series/players/winners so reader beware if you’ve not seen the 3 previous editions, or the celebrity version.

While we welcome posters discussing their theories and speculating on relationships/connections between players, please don’t post spoilers from elsewhere that may ruin things for those of us who like to see things unfold over the course of the series.

The story so far - this is a mid episode thread change so do not read on if you are not up to date with the live broadcast!

@CaveMum you legend, thanks for these threads ❤️❤️

Jeez - nothing like ageism Faraaz. She could be your mum, not your gran. Really rude of him.

Agree.

Considering the males were indistinguishable, I wish they'd put more middle age women into this programme. It would be far more interesting to watch people with more life experience.

hoxtonbabe · 23/01/2026 22:15

CharlotteRumpling · 23/01/2026 22:13

I thought it was some kind of slang?

I thought it was something silly from what was happening in the castle as I heard him calling her that in the castle so assumed it was some sort of joke between them

CaveMum · 23/01/2026 22:15

Starandflowers · 23/01/2026 22:13

Gutted that the last day people found out via a scroll and not hearing directly from Stephen and Rachel. Feels like an anticlimax

I think it’s because emotions are running high and they don’t want anyone to get very upset or angry.

They did it with the Celebs because the stakes were much less with the money going to charity.

havebeensostupid · 23/01/2026 22:15

I'll miss Claudia's outfits the most

BlueLimes · 23/01/2026 22:16

I didn’t like Rachel’s snideness. All that fbi nonsense and the self importance ‘I’ve got something important to tell you’ 🙄 her sex had nothing to do with my dislike (Also couldn’t stand Harry and Wilf).
Steven just seemed a kinder traitor.

TraitorsFan · 23/01/2026 22:16

hoxtonbabe · 23/01/2026 22:14

Where can I watch that. I can’t seem to find any recent international ones anymore.

BBC1 at midnight tonight.

Silverbirchleaf · 23/01/2026 22:14

Yes, he was bitter.

Faraz is certainly showing much more goodwill and humour accepting the result than Jack and Jade.

WonderfulSmith · 23/01/2026 22:16

’Grandma’s done me’. Cheeky wee shite! I still love him though.

ABoldStatement · 23/01/2026 22:16

CharlotteRumpling · 23/01/2026 22:02

Well, from E 1 ppl said Rachel would throw Stephen under the bus. She didn't. She actually saved him several times.
It was Stephen who came close to throwing her under the bus.

No, it was Stephen who you thought came close to throwing her under the bus because we saw him pondering that because he had to. Of course he had to consider that because it looked like Rachel may be banished and how he voted would have affected him.

You’re buying the edit, but we don’t know if he was clear to camera he’d never do that. It always seemed to me he’d go with Rachel unless he really couldn’t because of self-preservation.

LighthouseLED · 23/01/2026 22:16

I like Rachel’s outfit but what monstrosity has she got in her hair?

ForTheForseeable · 23/01/2026 22:17

IWantToHibernate · 23/01/2026 22:14

I’ve loved it from the very start but honestly… I think it peaked with the celebrity version.

This series has not been as fun as the earlier series, and now two traitors have won together it feels like we’ve seen most scenarios now. I may be wrong, but it’s just not the same anymore.

Yeah I agree, I'm not sure it can just keep going? I thought the secret traitor thing was rubbish.

FortyDegreeDay · 23/01/2026 22:17

I think some of the hate for Rachel is rooted in misogyny because she’s a strong woman.

Harry from S2 was confident, with a huge ego and easily threw other traitors under the bus, left, right and centre. Rachel played a confident and cool game, but with integrity to her fellow traitors and people are making her out to be an evil mega mind. She had to throw Fiona under the bus given her meltdown. She played a blinder of a game and she deserves the win.

Once you’re appointed a traitor, you have to play the game which means manipulating and confusing!

Disappointed with Stephen's outfit 😁

EdithBond · 23/01/2026 22:15

Oh, was it? I missed that. Was disappointed in him then. But maybe an inside joke.

I think so - I thought it started as a crack about him being so young and became a joke. I really don’t think it was anything more than that.

IWantToHibernate · 23/01/2026 22:17

Faraaz is at that age when everyone older than 26 is ancient. It’s still rude though.

IVotedForYourself · 23/01/2026 22:17

BBC1 at midnight tonight.

Yes.
Two 50 minute episodes back to back!

lol at Rachel's hair!

I agree. All that nonsense about what it's like in the tower. I just didn't like her at all. I thought Stephen was just a much more likable traitor

Lampzade · 23/01/2026 22:18

The grandma thing was probably a joke .

Stephen has just said on Uncloaked he came close to writing her name in the end. To camera. In his words " he wobbled".
We dont know what Rachel would have done.

Irish Traitors is on BBC soon. But you can watch pretty much all of them through here www.reddit.com/r/TheTraitorsArchive/s/kfAH5KMRn7
