Welcome to Thread 11 of Traitors 2026.

This thread runs at TV pace so do not read any further if you are not up to date with the live broadcast. Whilst most discussion will be on the current series, inevitably people will refer to previous series/players/winners so reader beware if you’ve not seen the 3 previous editions, or the celebrity version.

While we welcome posters discussing their theories and speculating on relationships/connections between players, please don’t post spoilers from elsewhere that may ruin things for those of us who like to see things unfold over the course of the series.

The story so far - this is a mid episode thread change so do not read on if you are not up to date with the live broadcast!

Yes! I can’t understand why Stephen was pointing the finger at her all in all the conversations. I’ve gone right off him.

I think it was unnecessary but I would still prefer him to win over any of the Faithfuls.

Hir post too soon by accident!

I won't be able to start watching at 8 tonight. How long will it be after it's aired before the episode lands on iplayer? It's supposed to be almost immediately but it isn't.

Edited

We recorded last night and watched when we got back. Put do not disturb on our phones as we have a family group chat about it!

claudiaswinklemen · 23/01/2026 09:37

I'm late to this party, but I have to say, I love Ed Gamble. (Catching up with last night's Uncloaked).

I really like him too, which is funny because I feel like he's not my usual type of presenter. But he's great!

When you go into bbc it gives the option to watch from the start doesn’t it? Mine says press green for that. But I think if you go into iplayer it also gives you the option on channels to watch a current programme from the start.

If Rachel survives the Chest of Chance, I fear she’ll be banished first. I’ve been Team Rachel all along but I can’t now see her getting to the end.

Similarly if James survives, they will all turn on him first.

Jack and Faraaz are tight; they will never believe either is a traitor.

Jade will be collateral damage somewhere along the way.

If there’s the three lads (Stephen, James and Faraaz) around the fire pit, I do think J&F will banish S at the last minute, purely because they trust each other more than anyone else.

I think Faraaz is getting half his motor.

Yeah, try telling that to Joe Hundy!

Also, Jack didn’t vote with Faraz for Rachel.

Yes, I could just wind the play back (I will be free before 9) but then I might see spoilers on screen. I would rather wait for it to drop and just go fron the start, but that can take ages.

Maybe I can hop on to Watch Live early during EastEnders and pause it. So strategic!

It starts at 8:30pm tonight followed by a live episode of Uncloaked.

Correct me if I'm wrong but from what I've watched, whenever Rachel has been put directly on the spot (prime example - when Faraaz outright said I think the other Traitor is you) she has never responded in the usual way others have - vehemently denying they are a Traitor, or declaring that they are a Faithful.
She just gives pause, and then redirects the accusation and argument onto someone else.
Just wondering if anyone else on here has noticed this, and how has she got away with it every time in the Castle? 😅
I'm not sure who is banished tonight but she's been a brilliant Traitor.
I will say she is one of my favourite Traitors.

Yes. She doesn't just parrot " I am a Faithful" and blub. Deflection. Classic comms strategy.

I start watching 30 mins late every day as I wait for the kids to be asleep and it is totally fine, where do you think you would see spoilers? Go to iplayer, say "watch live" on the traitors and pick "from start". I have done this every episode with no issue. Don't go to the live channel and rewind, just straight to iplayer.

dontcallmelen · 23/01/2026 10:08

scissy · 23/01/2026 07:06

To me, the way they were talking in the turret hinted as much. I don't think they wanted to "betray" Roxy like that either, and good for them if so.

I think they both agreed in the turret that they didn’t want to string Roxy along until the end, was a bit disappointed with Stephen when he started stirring up Rachel’s name really glad he stuck to the No vote pact, anyones game now I reckon.

Ah, I didn't realise you could watch live from the start from a specific programme. I always just hit the general Watch Live and it launches me straight into where the channel is at at that moment. So if I see Rachel, I know David Tennant lost with the Chests of Chance. I might see other stuff while I rewind as well.

I'll try that, thank you.

He may have done that to throw Rachel under the bus but not let her realise he was doing it, giving her less chance to respond if he votes for her tonight.

No worries! I definitely wouldn't have the patience to wait for the episode to finish to start watching so this "from start" option is a godsend!

Fopar · 23/01/2026 10:16

@ThatCyanCat

If you go to iPlayer whilst the programme is on. click onto "channels" on the left, then BBC1. It will give you the option to "watch from start" (and you can also pause it at any time).

FishfingerFlinger · 23/01/2026 10:22

I know it’s impossible but I would love for Stephen and Faraaz to win, they are both very likeable. If either of them win I will be happy!

CarminaBiryani · 23/01/2026 10:22

I think Faraaz didn't like it when Rachel approached him and said you're 22, are you trying to get rid of all the older ones. She was trying to flush out her enemies, but he was too well liked for that.

CarminaBiryani · 23/01/2026 10:24

I'm in anticipatory mourning for Rachel.

Oh god the funny thing is that if Rachel does go, it will be Rachel and Roxy meeting in the little room when the next player comes to meet the last. Or Roxy and James, awkward either way!

FishfingerFlinger · 23/01/2026 10:24

Also. I really hope we see Roxy’s “traitor reveal” reaction on tonight’s Uncloaked. Partly because I am dying to see it, but party because if we don’t it would suggest she was really upset and I don’t want that for her.

Nara2k · 23/01/2026 10:43

Stowickthevast · 23/01/2026 09:21

Stephen, Jack and Jade seemed quite close last night. I wonder whether they will stick together and banish the other two giving Stephen the win.

Faraaz may be the Joe M of the series sadly, and I'm sure that whichever of James and Rachel that stays will be banished first.

I did think James gave a better defence at the RT after the first vote though.

One of the 3 of Stephen, Jack and Jade have said a few times that they trust each other the most, even tho I feel we haven't really seen them together on screen that much, I think their closeness has been edited out a bit - I'm predicting those 3 left last standing and Stephen to win

Beachtastic · 23/01/2026 10:45

Lilbetsy · 23/01/2026 08:12

Yeah I agree! I was so surprised how quickly he went for her. I know she rattled him a bit but my goodness he was fangs out. I know we only see the edit but I don't think she was doing the same thing. Yes, she talked about him but not quite so aggressively. I'm glad he didn't write her name but I'm disappointed he stirred it up so much for her.

I still can't believe they murdered Roxy. I can't understand how that was a good move?? Shed have stuck with them to the end and voted James, then Jade and then she'd have been a malleable sacrifice at the end. Killing her was madness!

But then he voted twice for James, including in the second round of voting where he "should" definitely have voted for Rachel if he wanted to save his own skin. His little chats with people throughout the day were just a way of creating a smokescreen for his Rachel-defensive voting.

Iamthesecrettraitor · 23/01/2026 10:47

I personally felt that in the last conversation we saw in the turret, if I am remembering correctly, that Rachel said to Stephen if you hear me talking about you etc etc so I think he’s maybe starting to doubt her loyalty and realised that he’s kept so quiet about her this whole time that she is in prime position to throw him under the bus. So I think that’s why it looks like he’s kind of turned on her a bit.

Me too 😪

Womaninhouse17 · 23/01/2026 08:14

I don't think anything 'cements' anyone as a Faithfull though. Faraaz could have just had a lucky guess or he could be trying to get rid of a fellow Traitor.

I'm hoping that James actually vomiting in his efforts to get the gold to the top of the hill should prove he's a faithful, but it all lies in the hands of fate now (Chest of Chance)!
