Welcome to Thread 11 of Traitors 2026.

This thread runs at TV pace so do not read any further if you are not up to date with the live broadcast. Whilst most discussion will be on the current series, inevitably people will refer to previous series/players/winners so reader beware if you’ve not seen the 3 previous editions, or the celebrity version.

While we welcome posters discussing their theories and speculating on relationships/connections between players, please don’t post spoilers from elsewhere that may ruin things for those of us who like to see things unfold over the course of the series.

The story so far - this is a mid episode thread change so do not read on if you are not up to date with the live broadcast!

If James goes first tonight, Rachel will sadly be close behind, and that's in part thanks to Stephen stirring during the day - traitorous bastard 😂

butimamonstersaidthemonster · 23/01/2026 10:50

rachel is gone either way. Either now or in the next vote. James could be saved if Rachel goes and is revealed traitor.

loveyouradvice · 23/01/2026 10:51

@TheMadGardener
One of the international versions (Germany??) three traitors won together and had to choose split or steal but they all chose split so they shared the money. The clip is on YouTube in German, it's lovely.

Hi - I couldn't find this clip - might you post a link? or search terms?? Love to see it

butimamonstersaidthemonster · 23/01/2026 10:53

The traitors should have done more to sabotage the mission. If they could have got a faithful out and murdered they would ready have won before the final. 2/4. They also should have murdered faraz. Roxy would never have voted for Rachel and was on the James train already.

threesocksmorgan · 23/01/2026 10:57

i will be sad when James goes as he is my fave .
Rachel is toast. Faraaz my fave to win. (sorry know I have misspelt his name)
edited to hopefully put that right.

They've shown people on their own before when there's been a cliffhanger, just talking to camera, but I suppose it depends what they filmed last summer,. If it's true, though, it wasn't a cliffhanger for Roxy.

Yeh but if she reads out Rachel and then responds by saying you and pointing at the person opposite it can’t be shown

xsquared · 23/01/2026 11:06

I agree that whoever goes tonight, the other will follow in the next banishment.

Although I wasn't keen on Rachel early in the series, I think she's played a brilliant game and deserves to win. She won't now though.

It's looking like a Faraz and Jack win as they're still not certain about Jade.

I'm a bit disappointed in her game play to be honest, and was hoping that perhaps she would have her moment this week.
Faraz sounded annoyed with her at the RT when he told her she never contributes anything at the RT, and her only defence is "I'm being set up".

mikado1 · 23/01/2026 11:08

Apologies if it's been said as I'm a few pages behind.
But did anyone notice Rachel saying 'You're saying it was traitor on traitor (re Fiona) but I still got one'... that 'I still' to me is almost admitting yes it was T Vs T surely?
Otherwise she'd have said 'You're saying it was a traitor against traitor but it wasn't,I got her out'. I think someone watching for those little slips would have considered that. V surprised at Jack's change..

I noticed that. She was a bit stressed yesterday.

Piknik · 23/01/2026 11:26

We also all yelled when she said "still...." it was the nearest she's come to a slip up.

Faz or Stephen for me. I think Faz has played really well. He had a strong view, sat back until the time was right and then was unequivocal in his accusation. He held firm at the Round Table and made strong arguments for Rachel. To me, that is proper game play - at least shows some strategy in waiting and timing. Everyone else has just flip-flopped the whole series.

Rachel has been brilliant and I like her but I think she is toast either way now. Because they didn't recruit, there will be an expectation of at least two traitors I think and I suspect that if Rachel is saved, it will be her and Jade that people look at.

We shall see.

I'm loving that a TV show is so universally popular and is being watched live with such excitement and anticipation. It reminds me of the very first series of Big Brother and that episode when Nasty Nick was exposed by the carpenter bloke for his illegal notes. I remember being out with friends and us all rushing back to all watch it together. Good times!😂

Such an innocent crime in the current landscape of Reality TV but we were all outraged!

ThatCyanCat · 23/01/2026 11:34

Did they get the opportunity to recruit at all? I can't remember if it was ever offered.

Umbilicat · 23/01/2026 11:42

Yes, they had the opportunity but chose always to murder instead (and rightly so IMO)

CompleteMere · 23/01/2026 11:50

Maybe they haven't shown it in the edit but I'm also amazed Rachel didn't say "you're all going on about Harriet and that she said the last three traitors were me and two others - she was completely wrong about the other two, so why are you now sure she was right about me? I know we all trusted her - I trusted her! -but she went completely mad?!"

Daygloboo · 23/01/2026 11:51

YouWillNeverGuessMyUsername · 23/01/2026 07:01

No. Look at how impossible it was to identify the secret traitor.
They put in "clues" all over the place for loads of people and there was basically nothing for the viewers to work on, plus it kinda ruined the suspension of disbelief...it made us very very very aware we're seeing an edited version of what is happening, rather than a more natural documentary/retelling of the events unfolding.

It would be shit and really really really hard to edit.

Yeah i see what you mean

CarminaBiryani · 23/01/2026 10:24

I'm in anticipatory mourning for Rachel.

Oh god the funny thing is that if Rachel does go, it will be Rachel and Roxy meeting in the little room when the next player comes to meet the last. Or Roxy and James, awkward either way!

That will be excellent TV, just on Roxy’s reaction alone.

YouWillNeverGuessMyUsername · 23/01/2026 12:03

NCTDN · 23/01/2026 08:38

33?!! No way!

ok, i was a tad hyperbolic... she's 32

YouWillNeverGuessMyUsername · 23/01/2026 12:04

...32... not 33 my bad

The secret traitor, the secret relationships, the mysterious family tree painting… they’ve all been total damp squibs really haven’t they?

And in the whole series, what with the secret traitor nonsense and then giving out six or seven shields every mission and then having “no murder tonight” two or three times, how many times did Rachel and Stephen get to choose who they wanted to murder? About twice or something? Confused

I hope they stop all the gimmicks next time and just play the game properly - that would be the biggest twist they could think of.

yeah amount of shields has been VAST - i wonder if there were this many before

PineappleSunrise · 23/01/2026 12:10

What were the secret Traitor clues? I thought all we got was the fact that there was one.

Fiona was extremely smug and not at all uncertain or worried about murder in her camera asides. It certainly seemed as though it was her. But in true Faithful style, I wondered if the producers were bluffing in order to give us a surprise twist.

there weren't ... they edited to misdirect/obscure a lot... so like with Sam being all "shifty eyes" during the interviews .. .ellie saying 'don’t want to look like a secret traitor'

Hir post too soon by accident!

I won't be able to start watching at 8 tonight. How long will it be after it's aired before the episode lands on iplayer? It's supposed to be almost immediately but it isn't.

Edited

It’s on at 8.30pm until 9.45pm. Then Uncloaked is 9.45pm to 10.35pm.

u3ername · 23/01/2026 12:23

We’ve also noticed the ‘STILL, I got one’, rather than a clear ‘No, it was not a traitor on traitor’… Rachel did look a bit tired to me at this stage.

Tbh, I still haven’t warmed up to Rachel. I still feel she looks down on people, in contrast to Stephen who manages to be a traitor and still have warmth and friendliness in his chats and RT discussions.

I think some people are being harsh to Stephen saying he’s stirring for no reason. He mentioned R three times I think in the last night’s episode. If that’s all he’s done it’s hardly going for her the whole day. It was clearly strategic in case she got voted out (he witnessed Faraz accusing R so confidently in front of everyone, so it’s a fair assumption), combined with the conversation in the turret where R said he should expect that of her despite the pact. Add to that the editing and we don’t really know if he was responding or starting the conversations. He didn’t vote for her at the end of the day, and he knew she’d be going if he did.

I think he played a clever game. He knew when he was in real danger and why and he managed to skilfully deflect and get people on his side using friendliness and real personality. I don’t think he owes it to R to be still in the game.

So yeah, Stephen is my favourite for the win so far, but not sure Faraz will agree to share with him in the game. Faraz is my other favourite though and I really hope Jack doesn’t turn on him, at the end…

The most disappointing outcome for me would be Jack and Jade sharing, at the end.
Btw, was it Jack who was supposed to be the chess player (along with the PT job)? Haven’t seen a single original idea from him, just parroting.
Jade’s been just on survival mode, bless her.
