Welcome to Thread 11 of Traitors 2026.

This thread runs at TV pace so do not read any further if you are not up to date with the live broadcast. Whilst most discussion will be on the current series, inevitably people will refer to previous series/players/winners so reader beware if you’ve not seen the 3 previous editions, or the celebrity version.

While we welcome posters discussing their theories and speculating on relationships/connections between players, please don’t post spoilers from elsewhere that may ruin things for those of us who like to see things unfold over the course of the series.

The story so far - this is a mid episode thread change so do not read on if you are not up to date with the live broadcast!

A video of Rachel has just popped up on my Facebook from her employer. She’s back at work. Her video includes the phrase ‘I wouldn’t lie to you’. I don’t seem to be able to add the link here.

Ah we couldn’t see Roxy opening the letter as she would have been with James or Rachel so would have given away which one was banished

They've shown people on their own before when there's been a cliffhanger, just talking to camera, but I suppose it depends what they filmed last summer,. If it's true, though, it wasn't a cliffhanger for Roxy.

fairydust11 · 23/01/2026 08:05

Thanks for the new thread, just caught up! So happy they murdered Roxy.
Whoever doesn’t get banished in the box if chance will be gone next as the votes were so tight…
Can’t believe it’s the final later.
Faraaz & Jack for the win 🤞

They’d be stupid to think there’s only one left as they haven’t got a Traitor out since Fiona and once there’s only one Traitor left they always recruit. So if there had only been 3 at the start and Fiona’s departure had left a single Traitor whoever left would have recruited that night. So logically they must know there are at least 2 left.

this is why I think each faithful will choose someone they trust the most and try to banish the other three to get down to them as the two players only. It reduces the risk that there is only you and a traitor left.

I am not sure anyone trust Stephen the most - Jack maybe - so Stephen has an uphill battle to win. Especially if Rachel is outed as a traitor at start of tonight’s episode as that cements Faraaz as a faithful. I think Faraaz and Jack will team up and win.

Well, traitor competitors are famously stupid...

CharlotteRumpling · 23/01/2026 08:09

It's going to be Faraaz and Jack.🤨

Thats such a good point. Imagine if Rachel had been the secret traitor? I think the producers would have kept it going a lot longer. Whereas Fiona was so chaotic that they had to end it early.

Edited because I could see the text properly!

Edited

I think that the secret traitor was always going to join the rest after the first traitor was banished. The problem was Hugo going out so early rather than, what i believe was the plan, the secret traitor lasting another couple of episodes. At that point it wouldn't have been a secret anyway. If Fiona had been the secret traitor i believe she would have played with a strategy that benefited all the traitors and Hugo maybe wouldn't have gone so early.

...no they wouldn't have kept it going longer... At some point the traitors would be able to work it out by deduction. It would have only ever lasted maybe one more day...

I don't think he's a gentleman at all. He's stuck to the letter of the pact, not the spirit. He didn't write her name but he spent the day shit stirring about her.

Yeah I agree! I was so surprised how quickly he went for her. I know she rattled him a bit but my goodness he was fangs out. I know we only see the edit but I don't think she was doing the same thing. Yes, she talked about him but not quite so aggressively. I'm glad he didn't write her name but I'm disappointed he stirred it up so much for her.

I still can't believe they murdered Roxy. I can't understand how that was a good move?? Shed have stuck with them to the end and voted James, then Jade and then she'd have been a malleable sacrifice at the end. Killing her was madness!

CharlotteRumpling · 23/01/2026 08:13

Yes, they should have murdered Faraaz. Roxy would have been led.

SoScarletItWas · 23/01/2026 08:14

If Rachel survives the Chest of Chance, I fear she’ll be banished first. I’ve been Team Rachel all along but I can’t now see her getting to the end.

Similarly if James survives, they will all turn on him first.

Jack and Faraaz are tight; they will never believe either is a traitor.

Jade will be collateral damage somewhere along the way.

If there’s the three lads (Stephen, James and Faraaz) around the fire pit, I do think J&F will banish S at the last minute, purely because they trust each other more than anyone else.

I think Faraaz is getting half his motor.

I don't think anything 'cements' anyone as a Faithfull though. Faraaz could have just had a lucky guess or he could be trying to get rid of a fellow Traitor.

LadyDanburysHat · 23/01/2026 08:34

I agree with others that Rachel really has not chance now, even if she gets through the chest of chance. Stephen still has a good chance I think, he is well liked, but these people are all so all over the place it could be anybody at this stage.

NCTDN · 23/01/2026 08:38

YouWillNeverGuessMyUsername · 23/01/2026 07:04

I was watching Roxy generally how she came across, and the "I'm probably the most popular" incident, and at the time, I thought "ahhh, poor young lass, the arrogance of youth is fascinating"

She's fucking 33 😂😂

I thought she was 23!!

Edited

33?!! No way!

PineappleSunrise · 23/01/2026 09:02

CatAndHisKit · 23/01/2026 01:02

Exactly, I thought the same. Rachel told Stephen in the tower she may need to speak about him to save them both but she 's hardly said anything whereas he started laying into her to EVERYONE the next day and it may have swayed Jade, who was always more inclined towards James,

Rachel is my fave player, will really miss her, I liked the two of them and Stephen at least had undone the damage somewhat at the round table by going at James, but I wish he hasn't planted seeds that actively prior. I do think Rachel is phenomenal in her composure and intelligence.

Faraaz does also suspect Jade, he always say Jade and Rachel, or Jade an Stephen so he is not quite spot on as pp say. But close, yes.

So I’m finding this view really interesting. Many, many people on these threads have been defending what appears to be very cold/manipulative behavior from Traitors because “they’re playing the game really well.” They can get extremely defensive about it.

I agree with you on this incident, I like to see signs that people are actually quite nice and having to work hard at being successful Traitors. Stephen’s heel turn on Rachel does make him look “bad,” but only if you’ve not signed up to the idea that all Traitor behaviour is genius game playing as long as it works.

This is why I end up rooting for the Faithfuls! They’re set up to be gormless right from the start, everything is stacked against them (the idea they can catch Traitors based on evidence rather than vibes is pretty weak), but all they can do is be nice and get along with people and hope they’re still there for the end game.

lostdog26 · 23/01/2026 09:03

Today’s the day! It’s been such fun to watch and I’ve really enjoyed the ‘not knowing’ (ie not spoilt by social media etc) and watching along as it’s broadcast. As a PP said earlier, it has created a sense of belonging that TV used to do well.

DH has found a bottle of Prosecco left over from Christmas and popped in fridge for later. We will have our own little Traitors party while we watch!

stillnoideawhatimdoing · 23/01/2026 09:07

I'm heading away for the whole weekend shortly 😢 So will be catching up on Monday and turning my phone, ears and eyes off until then 🫣

It wasn't a good move from a gameplay pov. I reckon they couldn't bear to face Roxy at the end and say to her face "actually we're traitors and you've handed us the prize money". But that wouldn't make good TV hence the wishy washy "oh it'll be confusing and we're here for the long game, it'll throw heat on James blah, blah, blah".

As to the other bit, everyone else was talking about Rachel after Faraaz's announcement. Although he probably didn't need to stir quite so much!

Womaninhouse17 · 23/01/2026 08:14

or he could be trying to get rid of a fellow Traitor.

I think that's the way Stephen will have to spin it if he wants to win. Odds now I think are strongest Faraaz and Jack will win which I HATE. But Stephen has Jack on his side at the moment so it'll be a case of who can convince Jack first

Stowickthevast · 23/01/2026 09:21

Stephen, Jack and Jade seemed quite close last night. I wonder whether they will stick together and banish the other two giving Stephen the win.

Faraaz may be the Joe M of the series sadly, and I'm sure that whichever of James and Rachel that stays will be banished first.

I did think James gave a better defence at the RT after the first vote though.

ninja · 22/01/2026 21:34

It would be so much more interesting for the relationships if one was a traitor and one not

It would be great if they put identical twins in and made one a traitor... really mess with everyones heads.

ThatCyanCat · 23/01/2026 09:27

Hir post too soon by accident!

I won't be able to start watching at 8 tonight. How long will it be after it's aired before the episode lands on iplayer? It's supposed to be almost immediately but it isn't.

SunandWine · 23/01/2026 09:29

It’s going to be the boys that win, I agree with pp that whichever of Rachel or James has the shield will be the next to be banished. Then it will be Jade who doesn’t appear to have any loyal support, so no women left, just Stephen, Farrazz and Jack at the firepit. I think Farrazz is onto Stephen, so won’t end the game when he is still in it.

CharlotteRumpling · 23/01/2026 09:33

Do we think Rachel might have made it through if Stephen hadn't stirred?

Yes! I can’t understand why Stephen was pointing the finger at her all in all the conversations. I’ve gone right off him.
