Welcome to Thread 10 of Traitors 2026.

This thread runs at TV pace so do not read any further if you are not up to date with the live broadcast. Whilst most discussion will be on the current series, inevitably people will refer to previous series/players/winners so reader beware if you’ve not seen the 3 previous editions, or the celebrity version.

While we welcome posters discussing their theories and speculating on relationships/connections between players, please don’t post spoilers from elsewhere that may ruin things for those of us who like to see things unfold over the course of the series.

The story so far:

Traitors
Hugo
Rachel
Stephen
Fiona (Secret Traitor)

Murdered
Netty

Why anyone would want the likes of Jade or Roxy to win is a puzzle to me. What have they ever really contributed?

I hated when the three dimwits won that series where none of them had a clue what was going on 99.99% of the time.

They only won because Keiren (sp) acted like a complete knob and outed Wilf. Even then they had to reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally think about it because he wasn't obvious enough for them!

You have seen what the producers wanted you to see.

He's going to waltz in wearing a widely hooped, green sprigged muslin dress, shout, "As God is my witness, I'll never be hungry again!" at the breakfast table and declare that tomorrow is another day?

I hope so.

Pretty sure that's what Stephen will be wearing if he makes it to the final!

Traitors are two faced with everyone. It's literally their role.

She was clearly falling in love with him though. Much as I enjoy Traitors, I do sometimes wonder a bit. She's the only player I ever saw who didn't seem relaxed and happy in the interviews afterwards when the spell has broken for most people. There were a few moments in S1 that worried me a bit too.

Completely agree it’s their role. He went too far though, making it much more personal somehow than I’ve seen any other ‘relationship’ on the show. Yes, it’s been uncomfortable to watch her sometimes.

I don't think he went too far during the show. She was just very gullible and forgot why they were all in there. The only thing I would judge him for is that after he won, he promised her a holiday. He never delivered on that promise. She brushed it off and said she never expected him to but I thought that was pretty shit behaviour and he should not have promised if he had no intention of keeping it.

The issue with Harry was he was SO two-faced with Molly. She was convinced they were deep friends and were in the game together.

I’ve not seen Stephen or Rachel build similar relationships or make what were pretty much promises.

It was Molly's fault for forgetting it was a game and that is Harry was a traitor, he had to say he wasn't!

Farraz could be Scarlett O Hara tonight

I thought he was a coquettish milkmaid?

I thought she declined the offer.

Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn.

Faraaz made a mistake bringing up his suspicions after the round table and before retiring for the night. This is the worst time to do so, you don’t have time to sway people to your opinion and you are feeding into the Traitors’ deliberations. Should have waited until breakfast time at least when you have the day ahead of you and others have time to consider your points.

But with Jack protected by the shield he probably realised that he could be murdered anyway.

By openly accusing Rachel she knows there’s a risk to her if he gets murdered - without the accusation there’s no reason to think Rachel would be his murderer

though with this lot they seem to have complete amnesia about anything that happened before breakfast today 😂

LindorDoubleChoc · 22/01/2026 19:36

I'm scratching my head trying to think of when a family or boyfriend/girlfriend connection enhanced the game in any way. It was a relief to be spared that bollocks in the celeb version.

Maggiethecat · 22/01/2026 19:39

I fear for Faraz. This BBC clip shows James looking very uncomfortable when Faraz confronts Rachel with suspecting her.
So even if they don’t murder Faraz, the traitors will sow distrust against him for suddenly piping up with these theories indicating traitorous behaviour by him.
And of course people like James (although he voted Rachel as best traitor in the box game) will look away despite obvious sense or their own intuition and vote against Faraz.

In addition, I think Rachel and Stephen have become quite emboldened by how dim these faithfuls are and especially how nothing seems to stick against Rachel.
I do think Faraz is a goner.

CaveMum · 22/01/2026 19:53

I’m going to be a bit behind tonight as my son doesn’t get back from Cubs until 8 and will need chivvying into bed!

Were going to need a mid-episode thread changeover so I’ll keep an eye on the post count on this one and will put a new one up around the 950 mark so that people have time to swap over.

Nearly there!

I feel a change in clothes is a good distraction strategy for anyone under heat - seems to be working so far 😆😂

RubieChewsDay · 22/01/2026 19:59

patiently waiting for traitors to start and watching eastenders for the first time in about 20 years. Who’s the guy in the cardigan that Phil Mitchell was just talking to? He looks really familiar but I can’t place him.

Just turned it on and Phil is still crying and Ian Beale is still shouting at someone!

Here we go.

I want the faithfuls to win. They are mostly young and more in need of the money I feel. However if the murder Faraz tonight and get away with it then the Traitors derseve to win.

I wouldn’t judge affluence on their age - both Ellie and Jade come from wealthy backgrounds, Ben was the oldest and was a retired merchant seaman.

I incline to wanting someone who has never had a crack at that kind of money to win but we really don’t know their financial situation so mostly I want the best players to win

EchoedSilence · 22/01/2026 20:05

Oooh Stephen.
