Welcome to Thread 9 of Traitors 2026.

This thread runs at TV pace so do not read any further if you are not up to date with the live broadcast. Whilst most discussion will be on the current series, inevitably people will refer to previous series/players/winners so reader beware if you’ve not seen the 3 previous editions, or the celebrity version.

While we welcome posters discussing their theories and speculating on relationships/connections between players, please don’t post spoilers from elsewhere that may ruin things for those of us who like to see things unfold over the course of the series.

No, can't recall how Bobby 'died' but just when his 'widow's' boyfriend had disappeared looking for emeralds Bobby emerged from the shower, years after he 'died', Pamela had had a very long. raunchy dream. Bobby's skin must have been awful after so long under the shower, about 4 years!
The woman who shot JR was Kristen/Kirsten, can't be bothered looking it up .

When the first celebrity version was announced the producers were inundated with the agents of the usual reality TV nonentities which thy ignored to get names that were recognisable. Hopefully they won't accept these reality roundabout people for the second one, leave them on love island and so on.

Good grief, we’re almost due another thread! I will sort one out this afternoon.

I would imagine they’d be able to take their pick after the success of the first series! I’m hoping for BIG names…

My understanding is that there were a number of high profile celebs who wanted to do the first series but scheduling conflicts meant they couldn’t. I imagine they will be top of the list for S2.

Tom Hiddleston has admitted to being a big fan and said he’d love to do the show…

ITV today mentioned Danny Dyer being interested in doing it.

I’d love Jack P Shepherd to do it

Ruth Jones also wanted to do the first series but was unable to do so due to other commitments. So a strong Season 2 possibility

I'd love Victoria Coren Mitchell to do it

Would love Ruth or Nessa as a traitor.

And Amol Rajan

There are a few people I can’t bear that I’d at first say I’d prefer not to be in Celeb Traitors but actually it doesn’t matter because it’s good to have unbearable people in it - like Stephen Fry with his faux humility, Clare Blading with her patronising everyone’s friend thing and Jonathan Ross with his insufferable ego.

I wonder if the producers read these threads and we could make a 'please do not under any circumstances put this list of people in' list?!

I will start with any Loose Women and anyone who got famous via a reality show.

Victoria Coren Mitchell would be a fabulous traitor. With her poker face on , she is already half way there.
Plus she seems nice , so people would trust her and confide in her I think.

I think a criteria for the normal traitors is no one who is in it to get famous, so looking more at their qualities, and a mix of representative people. They pick one or two then build around that. Hopefully same for celeb traitors.

To the poster who suggested Ruth jones. Yes! As Nessa even better (though maybe not as even though it would be brilliant it would definitely distract from the game!)

Can't wait, there's only 6 faithful left now. Stephen said he doesn't want to be at the end with 100% faithfuls.

Possibly Faraaz, James and Jade are the most critical thinkers. Roxy and Jack looking very faithful.

Possibly Roxy gets the dagger.

Yes I think Roxy is the safest bet for the dagger. She gets it wrong time and time again and hangs off every word rachel says so no way she is voting for her. Rachel can also dissuade her from voting for Stephen if it looks like it’s heading that way.

If R can’t dissuade then perhaps she’ll break their promise 🤔

They know there are still Traitors left and I don't think anyone believes there's only one. I think Rachel and Stephen may have to recruit, perhaks more than once, otherwise they'll keep on banishing until they get someone.

But no to Danny Dyer.

In fact, if the Faithful are smart, they can add the number of days without a murder to the number of Traitors they think there are now (I think they all agree it's two or three). The only thing that might mess it up is shields, if they think the Traitors tried to murder a shielded player rather than recruit.

They were SO lucky that murder gamble, when loads of people had shields, paid off. The odds were not in their favour.

Except all the other celebs are likely to know she is a champion poker player even more than the public.

I think she’d be toast. on day one - either murdered or banished.
