Welcome to Thread 9 of Traitors 2026.

This thread runs at TV pace so do not read any further if you are not up to date with the live broadcast. Whilst most discussion will be on the current series, inevitably people will refer to previous series/players/winners so reader beware if you’ve not seen the 3 previous editions, or the celebrity version.

While we welcome posters discussing their theories and speculating on relationships/connections between players, please don’t post spoilers from elsewhere that may ruin things for those of us who like to see things unfold over the course of the series.

The story so far <spoiler warning if you haven’t seen the start of episode 9>

Agree. And would be great entertainment: he’ll think it’s a recruitment.

cariadlet · 16/01/2026 20:43

Roxy is so thick if she seriously thinks that James could possibly be a traitor.

Silverbirchleaf · 16/01/2026 20:44

No one is realising that Rachel’s doth protest to much, so to speak, and her careful, considered arguments could be turned against her.

Not sure if I’ve explained that well.

CarminaBiryani · 16/01/2026 20:44

Harsh, very harsh.

LighthouseLED · 16/01/2026 20:44

pouletvous · 16/01/2026 20:43

A vote for everyone except the traitors

Did Faraaz get voted for?

ThePoshUns · 16/01/2026 20:44

Jade should just go for the yourselfs!

murasaki · 16/01/2026 20:44

Aargh, yourself again. I hope Jade gets her thesis proof read.

CrushingOnRubies · 16/01/2026 20:44

Thanks for the new thread

is Ellie going to reveal her relationship with Ross

pouletvous · 16/01/2026 20:44

she has a phd but still says yourself

saltandvinegarchipsticks · 16/01/2026 20:44

Well I think they’ve banished the last of the clever faithfuls.

RainbowSnake · 16/01/2026 20:44

I hadn’t realised Matt was picking up so many votes tonight. They may well recruit him as a sacrifice after all.

EchoedSilence · 16/01/2026 20:44

Phew. Stephen is safe.

PinkPanther57 · 16/01/2026 20:42

Why does she wield so much power?

I can only presume it's the pecking order that forms with any group of people and she's sat at the top of it.

pouletvous · 16/01/2026 20:44

Studying for one I thought she said rather than doctored?

MadamCholetsbonnet · 16/01/2026 20:44

cariadlet · 16/01/2026 20:43

Roxy is so thick if she seriously thinks that James could possibly be a traitor.

To be fair, Roxy has come across as thick throughout.

ThatCyanCat · 16/01/2026 20:45

I swear, by the time they get to the RT, they have completely forgotten who last got murdered and anything it might mean.

dapsnotplimsolls · 16/01/2026 20:45

Who'd have thought at the start of the episode that Ellie would go?!

cariadlet · 16/01/2026 20:45

Stephen was lucky. I thought they'd be a huge discussion about Jessie's suspicions and there would be some votes for him.

saltandvinegarchipsticks · 16/01/2026 20:45

Silverbirchleaf · 16/01/2026 20:44

No one is realising that Rachel’s doth protest to much, so to speak, and her careful, considered arguments could be turned against her.

Not sure if I’ve explained that well.

I think she bigged it up too much, to the point people will remember that she led the charge.

C8H10N4O2 · 16/01/2026 20:45

I think in Rachel’s position I’d have voted Ellie because I think she is more of a risk to the traitors than Jade. Jade is little risk to the traitors and may well get the boot tomorrow.

TheChicDreamer · 16/01/2026 20:46

IHadaMarvelousTimeRuiningEverything · 16/01/2026 20:41

The way they all sat back and listened to Rachel like what she was saying was Gospel is telling. She holds so much influence I think she has a real chance of winning this.

I think they’re all a bit scared of her too. Which is why they never challenge her.

murasaki · 16/01/2026 20:46

C8H10N4O2 · 16/01/2026 20:44

Studying for one I thought she said rather than doctored?

Yes, still studying. I hope her supervisor has words.

pouletvous · 16/01/2026 20:46

Oh it’s the dinner party

SwedishEdith · 16/01/2026 20:46

I love James and quite like Jack. How come no-one ever nominates Roxy?

PinkPanther57 · 16/01/2026 20:46

IHadaMarvelousTimeRuiningEverything · 16/01/2026 20:44

I can only presume it's the pecking order that forms with any group of people and she's sat at the top of it.

There’s a lesson for all of us there. Strategy at work etc.
