@IHadaMarvelousTimeRuiningEverything I'm never sure what I think about this "getting to know people" thing. It seems to me that lots of the blokes on LI take this as a green flag to snog as many of the female islanders as they can. Charlie is basically telling Millie and Jess the same thing; that he really likes them, fancies them and wants to get off with them. I think that is is disingenuous and is an attempt to get the women to do the "pick me" dance & compete with each other for him - which Millie clearly isn't remotely up for playing.

Shak recoiled when AJ said that she'd follow the same approach as him and whined to Helena about it, knowing full well that Helena will always ensure she is agreeable and do the "pick me" dance. She likes to position this as not "deeping" it, but actually I think she has such low self-esteem she can't not do it, if that makes sense.

Anyway, I'm delving into the psychology of it all too much but it does fascinate me!

Samie also launched her own perfume range in November last year called Elishi. I can't help but think her appearance is to raise her profile for that. If she can coast for a win with Ceiran then all the better for her new line!

@Aquarius1234 I loved Celebrity Love Island. Lady Victoria Hervey returning to the island and pouring a bottle of wine over the celeb who stole her man. Paul Danan getting absolutely blasted every day. The hosts hating each other and refusing to hide it.

Fun fact for you. Paul Danan tried to kiss me once in a London bar in the early noughties. When I pushed him away he did the whole “do you know who I am?”. He was totally off his tits. I think he had just finished working on Hollyoakes at the time and was most put out that I didn’t fancy him despite knowing who he was!

@Rollergirl11 yes it was. They absolutely hated each other. Apparently he mentioned that Paul Danan and Kelly had a relationship and she was livid

FML, who was voting for Scott!!!! It was very tetchy last night. Lots of very emotionally immature fragile egos in that villa. Looks like tonight is going to be beefy too.

Maybe people voted for Scott as he is the only one focused on one girl . Although that looks to change now he knows Millie likes him.

all of the "charge it to the game" and "lipsing" really grates but i am knee deep and loving it. even though i always stop watching it about half way through as it can get a bit yawn-ish. also the "snog the islander who you....." seriously who plays games like that?! they do it on MIC aswell and it's so cringey (says me who is a paragon of virtue)

I just caught up on last night and have really proper gone off Whitney. I liked her in her own season but she has been really annoying and has come across as a bit of a bitch. She is entitled and immature and I am just glad that Jack has seen sense and knocked it on the head.

I actually quite like that Curtis is back. At least he brings some proper fun and energy into the show.

Nor me @Passingthrough123. It’s perfectly acceptable and healthy to not want drama in a relationship. Scott implying that Jack was taking the easy way out and using it as an excuse was really unfair and enabling of Whitney’s behaviour, which was uncalled for.

Whitney had beef with 3 different people in the space of a night and her only response when challenged was “charge it”. No accountability whatsoever.

Exactly! If a woman ended a coupling because the man was having lots of beef with others and then being rude and dismissive of people trying to smooth things over – as Shaq and Jess both tried – then she'd be applauded for having healthy boundaries. But Jack does it and he's a wuss for not being able to handle her.

Totally agree. I was a bit pissed off with Scott implying Jack was using it as an excuse and took the easy way out. Like you say, its perfectly acceptable to not want to be with someone who loves drama. Its an obvious red flag to him in a relationship and that is fine. It doesn't make him a bad person.

Whitney is just salty because he has been the one to call time on it. She took it badly, even though he was being really mature about it all, and she just acted like a child.

Whitney is a mean immature girl. Jack is far too good for her.
