It’s coming over as inauthentic because have cast some really nice girls and paired them with the male losers of their seasons. The girls are having to feign attraction to keep their place in the villa.

If we must make an All Stars cast it from around the world. Surely there’s some Aussies or US candidates who want to gain followers

I get that people will say long distance won’t work but frankly none of them last anyway

I agree with a lot of the previous posts! They're going through the motions for exposure and just comes across as fake and boring. I've stopped watching but will probably tune in for the main show in the summer.

Totally agree that it's all a bit same old, same old, now. I think it's sad when the contestants come back and have obviously had some 'tweakments' that they really didn't need in the first place. I know it's been said before, but I really think they should makeover the whole show. Older contestants, more alcohol allowed, not so scripted. It would be better if it were more organic all round.

Konnor is not younger, he is 30 and he chose to couple with her but she wasn't interested. Why these girls always want the 'cheeky chappie' is bloody beyond me.

I missed the part where he came in as a bombshell so I didn't know his age. Agree though, they only end up hurt in the long run.

Yeh the show hasn't evolved at all. Its gone completely backwards.
Its fake from start to finish.
Why producers like this type of show, ill never understand.
Its like the worst soap in the world with the worst actors ever.
At least with a trashy soap with bad actors you dont get the crappy one line chats.

Just put only gays in and let them get on with it!!

All reality shows should be like that.
Years ago they used to be more organic from come dine with me to dating shows.
Or big brother or maybe series 1 or 2 love island.

It was pretty meh compared to whole Summer of Big Brother but from vague memories id probably give it 10/ 10 and current Love Island series a 1/ 10...

Joining the chat belatedly. Where’s blondes?! I think Sammie and Kieran seem like the most believable couple. Feel sorry for Tommy. Not keen on Jess feel like she is patronising to him just because he doesn’t live on his own. Think Scott is the best looking . Charlie can’t stand his type. He and Jess deserve each other. I am enjoying the drama so far on this depressing January evening.

Yes his hair is awful. I liked him in his original season, thought he was decent looking , but there is something off about him.

He was quiet and reserved in his series. He appears to be channelling Mitch now though, which is odd reduce everyone hated him, both fellow islanders and the viewers. Seems an odd gameplan to me. 🤷‍♀️

@Aquarius1234 I watched it - OMG what happened to Abi Titmus! She was in every newspaper, lads mag, celeb mag and has now disappeared. I remember Bianca Gascoigne crying and Paul Danan being an arse. Plus they all smoked and drank freely. Same as the first few series of non-celeb LI - they were shagging, smoking and drinking. They used to act like they were on an episode of Ibiza Uncovered or The Villa that used to be on Sky One.

Yeah I've never warmed to Samie for this reason. I think she's absolutely stunning but there's something so off about her.

I cannot stand Charlie but I do emphasise with him in that it is less than a week in!!! The whole point is to get to know other people but because Millie is a fan favourite and popular with the other islanders Charlie can't possibly upset her! He's being treated like he's closed things off with her.
