More casting announcements today. Looks as if they are including all the books! ? Not sure how it will work but I’ll be here for it.

Well that confirms Ryan and Fabian will be cast, so I think we’re just waiting for them, Galina, Coach Wiebe and Crowell.

I know that it looks as if they are filming season 2 and 3 but that is still a lot of intertwining stories to cover. Especially with Shane and Ilya remaining the core of it all. Unless they are just smallish parts? Interesting times!

I know in the book Fabians friends have a very very small part, a bit like Maria in series one.

I think so too. He was excellent in Young Royals.

I’m watching Young Royals due to Edvin Rydings joining Season 2 - it’s really good and I can’t believe I missed it up until now. I can’t wait to see Connor & Edvin on screen together.
But my weekend has been dominated by the 3 x YSL drops from Anthony Vaccarello, I’m not sure how I am going to get through the next few weeks as the campaign unfolds, Connor really is a super star.

There are lots of young royals filming locations very close to us, you often see fans taking pictures.

I want to watch YR too. Need to fit it in somehow but the YSL drops and the fanfic is keeping me too busy!

The whole YSL campaign will have me feral. Then there’s the Armani one to come. Good lord. He’s such a superstar and I still am in awe of his this time last year no one knew him really. Now everyone wants a piece of him. And Hudson. And they are still so young.

I think the other person is wearing what looks like suit trousers so maybe not Harris. Maybe the outgoing Toronto coach or Coach Wiebe? Exciting either way!

I saw a photo of Justice and he’s bulked up a bit. Looking more like Harris now! I got so attached to Ilya and Shane in the books and show and I definitely think I’m going to love Troy and Harris.

Such a fantastic opportunity for all these actors in S2. All the exposure they’ll get. Every agent and casting director will be checking the cast out hoping to find the next Connor and Hudson.

I agree about Justice- i really can picture him and Charlie playing these roles perfectly.

Re reading RM. Now I know the actors I can really visualise it. The first time they get together is just lovely. Rachel is so good at getting us to care about the characters. It’s such a sweet but obviously spicy scene. Harris and Troy are adorable.

I've been thinking of a whole series reread too, especially now that we can put faces to names!

I’ve been dipping in and out of X and Threads for HR news. Good god….what a horrible fandom it is. I’m a bit of a veteran when it comes to fandoms but I think this one had to be the worst I’ve seen. Some vile people posting. Did they miss the message of the show. Absolute weirdos.
