I think the secret traitor is Roxy. I can't put my finger on exactly why , but she seems to be playing the game like no other previous contestant. We've got the nervous ones , the outspoken ones etc , everyone fits a mould. I don't think she does and that makes me think she's playing a different role. I'm curious to know if my autistic pattern recognition has guessed correctly!

Haven't caught up with the thread yet so sorry if I'm repeating anything!

I'd always assumed the Secret Traitor was meant to be a short term thing, especially as by process of elimination the traitors would be able to work them out or narrow them down. But I am a little disappointed it's being revealed this early. I do think that's only because of Hugo's banishment though.

When a twist was announced I was worried I'd hate it as I hate messing with the format but I actually love it and enjoy playing along. We're also analysing everything they do and say, albeit of course we're steered by the producers.

For me, I was looking forward to the round table reveals where we'd also be wondering if the player was genuinely faithful or the Secret Traitor. I had assumed at some point the current traitors would target someone they thought was the Secret Traitor, and we'd be so excited to find out if they got it right!

I think the shots of the Secret Traitor moving around the castle are probably not actually them. But if it were, in that last shot in tonight's episode I felt they were moving quite feminine, and quite spritley too so I think it's someone younger. I think the guesses of Roxy make sense with her being a POC but my guess is Jessie 😊

I think if I were playing, I'd pay close attention to the last one or two people to turn up for breakfast. The editing always leaves it to the last door-open to reveal who was murdered, so the last one(s) in are usually the ones who might have been killed overnight i.e. faithful.

All the editing seems to be overegging the nudge-nudge about Fiona being cleverer than she pretends, plus there's that Welsh accent going on - who is ever going to trust a dear Welsh lady ever again?! To me, she's too obvious to be the ST.

I still want Jack to turn out to be something like the ST... not sure why, especially as we see so little of him. I just have a feeling he's a bit of a dark horse. But I have absolutely no logical reason for thinking this!

Part of me wants the ST to be one of the interchangeable dudes just so one of them stands out.

I’m convinced Ellie and Ross are connected somehow - mostly because of their train interaction.

Sam is exactly what @Perimenoanti said IMO - confident while male, all teeth and opinions!

Jade is giving me Leanne-from-last-series vibes - over sensitive & defensive, lashing out at anyone who dares to suspect her. It’s my least favourite type of player.

Clutching at straws to suspect a player who’s keen to get a shield in a game where it’s an advantage to have a shield. So odd.

They’ll know that the murder shortlist was made by breakfast though so it wouldn’t mean a recruitment had necessarily taken place. When they’ve put people on death row in the past there hasn’t been a murder the night before and there wouldn’t usually be a recruitment either.

Harriet must surely be murdered next?

She’s smart and dangerous; she hasn’t yet accused the other traitors; and the faithful will never banish her!

Someone earlier also mentioned that she has a graduation photo on her Insta flanked by an older couple, possibly her parents.

I’m glad someone else is thinking Ellie and Ross are connected! I thought the same as soon as I saw their train interaction but then started thinking I might be clutching at straws. They just seem very comfortable around each other.

I also thought that maybe Ross was so nervous about the Nettie situation due to perhaps having another connection he was already hiding.

Don’t forget that all the contestants watch it along with us, so Hugo will have found out that Harriet is a barrister the same time as us.
