I suspect production ‘interference’ as in asking him how he’s feel if a detective was in the game.

I've been thinking about this. It might be the horrible explanation, and I hope not. But it might also be metagaming, knowing that there's always been a minority woman as a Traitor in the past, and they may also favour middle aged/older ones too. Nobody can say it but I wonder if that's why they seem to be gunning this way, rather than actual discrimination.

The edit is still pushing Fiona as the secret traitor, but I’m really not sure
