Late checking in this series - my last Christmas visitors left this morning -am now running the fourth load of laundry, caught up with Traitors and Uncloaked in P&Q.
I’m glad they didn’t kill people before the game started this time - I hated that tactic, a rubbish way to treat the contestants.
In two minds on the ST. Whoever is picked will have a short shelf life - it won’t need many murder shortlists for the traitors to identify them. It’s a fun way to engage the public in the game but I assume its partly to balance the evident advantage for the traitors.
As usual we have a set of likely suspects micro analysing normal behaviours as “suspicious” because they do things differently. Unsurprising that so many want to be traitors - chances of progression are a lot higher.
“I”m so sooper clever, me” Sam needs a slap.
Hugo is insufferably pleased with himself - also needs a slap.
Disappointed but entirely unsurprised to see two black women out first, one for being “too loud” and the other for being the “will be too loud” target in a shortlist with two men. Coupled with Ross being the “obviously suspicious” one for many of the faithfuls - you would think by now that the producers would know the best way to keep them in the show for longer is to make them traitors.
Agree with PP - the late 20s-30s cohort will gel and we will lose oldies but they will underestimate the youngest.
We are seeing lots of Amanda so I suspect her life is limited on the show unless she is ST (so four white traitors - can’t see the Beeb doing that after comments from previous years). My guess for ST would have been Roxy or Ellie and we are seeing much more of Roxy - if she is in for an early bath as well that fits with ST being an likely early departure. If its Roxy I’d expect to see her gunning for Sam at the next round table. Fiona as ST would be too much of a retread from previous series.
Jade was one of the few who said she didn’t want to be a traitor and they have previously said they won’t force traitor hood on contestants, otherwise she would be high on my candidate list for ST.
Not sure I like the increasing “Dead Nan” content in the prize money spending plans.
Anyone read much by Harriet? I would have thought a well known writer would be on the celeb version, but I supposed the celebs need a media presence to be recognised.
