Tbh it is going to be a bit of a poisoned chalice in any case as some will be gleeful if it fails. Need someone with broad shoulders to take on that pressure. I don't think DWTS in the U.S. has ever been the same since losing Tom. And although Bake Off continued, and will continue, I still prefer its original line up/inaugural cast.

I wouldn't mind Bradley Walsh tbh, though he wouldn't be my first choice. He's a bit of a Brucie type.

You've just made me think of another Tom - Tom Read Wilson from Celebs go dating. His uplifting vibe would fit well with the brand.

I know this isn't relevant, but I've just been watching Anything Goes on the Bbc iplayer. Wow, Sutton Foster is amazing, and I'd love to see her as a guest judge. She's so talented and joyful. In case anyone is unfamiliar, she's an American actress/singer/dancer.

But I listen to Zoe Ball and Jo Whitley’s podcast and on Wednesday their was a brief mention that Zoe was getting all glammed up for something she couldn’t yet talk about - could it strictly?

More likely an awards show I would have thought.

But she's probably the best choice if available.

Miranda could be a good call. She’s intelligent, witty, and a genuine fan. I’m not sure about her live tv experience though.

Maybe Zoe as Main Host, Miranda backstage?

Oh god no. He's lovely and indeed has an uplifting vibe but it all gets a bit wearing after 5 minutes.

Yes agree ITT needs a revamp, you could predict the script and guests on the last series. I use to enjoy the Strictly podcast with Jo Sugg that was cut a couple of years ago, it was a fun listen and something along those lines would be better.

Am imagining Mighty Mighty Monkseal presenting (or maybe guesting on?) the new-look ITT...

I've said for years I would prefer a weekly companion show to IT2.

They may try to turn ITT into podcast style, like the one that follows the Traitors and now the Apprentice. I don't think I'd be keen, if they did.
