The worst series ever, very minor celebrities. The whole show needs a major make over, new presenters, new judges, new format. Bruce must be turning in his grave. Just dreadful.

I think it’s been an underwhelming series, so an ideal opportunity to change things for the next series, especially with new presenters. I think there will have to be careful thought about which celebrities to ask to be part of it. The audience likes to see familiar faces in unfamiliar situations.

I hope they choose the new anchors wisely. There are some that have been suggested that would be divisive.

I think it's quite tough being a ringer on Strictly anyway, given that the likelihood is that you will get to the final, have to do all that bloody hard work, and be left in the position where you know that, no matter how hard you work realistically you stand no chance whatsoever of winning

so agree with this. I said as much last night. Amber knows going into the final that she is not getting the votes.

I prefer other contestants because I like their story, the way they get in a mess with some dances and take to others like a duck to water. They add I terest and unpredictability that you wouldn’t get in a show full of Lewis, Amber and Layton. The dances would be great, but the show wouldn’t be interesting.

I disliked Layton slightly as a personality. I don’t dislike Amber I just don’t really find her particularly engaging. They are all allowed to compete and do their best, and people are always going to compare their previous experience with other’s.

It’s fine. No one should’ve be getting abuse, whatever. It isn’t abuse to comment though.

As for new presenters and a reset- they need it with the various scandals, anyway.

The licensing of the franchise/selling the format worldwide has made them a ton of money with all the various iterations of Dancing With The Stars

funny I like Layton, didn't vote for him though. can't take to Amber though.

Wow, the final live tour couples are out, it’s almost too complicated to write out but Lewis/Katya are doing some dates, George/Alexis are doing some dates and Nikita / Layton are doing special guest dances. Check the small print if you already have tickets! (No Kaz/Carlos).

I always assumed that the celebs knew performing in the live tour was a part of the whole experience, so surprised they both have so many conflicts.

I'm looking to go to the live tour now that the rest of the line up has been announced.

I normally go to the last show at the O2 on a Sunday evening as it has a party atmosphere but George / Alexis won’t be performing. I probably won’t go this year.

I think with the presenters leaving they need to take an opportunity for some big changes. Don't get some Claudia/Tess dupes doing a watered down version of what they do go completely new.
I would also venture that the judging panel could be looked at they're all a bit predictable. I also think the Beeb need to go back to the drawing board do they want to produce a competition? or is it a light entertainment show? Both might have a place in the schedule .
Bring back more ballroom I miss the elegant dances with the full skirts and tha fur trim

I agree and think it needs a refresh and rethink, dances that look like what they say they are and get rid of CC. .They can throw in some of the instant dance for a bit of fun. 😀
