The kids are all very advanced on Corrie tonight. Seven month old baby Layla waving, I half expected her to say “Goodbye weird Uncle-Daddy” in sign language.

I liked the scene between Joanie and Sal at the end, it was like when they were on the factory roof together.

Weird time of year to fly off to Singapore, babies first Christmas!
Will's family must be incredibly thick if they don't see what is happening between him and Megan. Exactly what sport would require a personal coach for a 16 year old lad? Megan has no other clients only Will.

I'd have liked to see her arrive at the airport and struggle/juggle with suitcases, baby stuff, BABY, buggy, briefcase and flippin laptop. She's a high flying business woman after all.

I was half expecting their cover to be blown tonight. When dad was in the hotel room he saw rose petals in the bin then saw one stuck to Megan in the pub.

So the enthusiastic 16yr old books a hotel room, gets two key cards, brings candles and rose petals to make everything romantic but LEAVES HIS SOCKS ON in bed????

And burning candles in a hotel room is strictly forbidden so smoke detector beeping could have got them caught.

It's obviously a storyline the producers felt needed highlighting. Not only older men groom teenage girls. It can happen in reverse. They're doing it with Todd and Theo. Showing it's not only straight couples experience domestic abuse.

What will they think of next?

This storyline is not remotely believable.

It's unbelievable that Megan would fancy such a sour faced, unattractive 16 year old. Body would be far more believable, but too old for storyline I guess.

I agree @Freysimo . I thought I saw her give Brodie a look when she first saw him but don't know whether I was imagining that.

@MonickerMonica I know it can happen in reverse, Emmerdale also did it but for me, the difference is we cared about Jacob when Maya was doing it because Jacob had been established for a few years whereas Will hasn’t had time to become established in Corrie if that makes sense

Agree. What on earth does Megan see in him?
Not good looking, funny, interesting, ( not that any of that makes it ok of course ) but at least it would be slightly believable.

I had forgotten that with Jacob and Maya but must have watched it. I do remember Maya was a dangerous woman. Jacob was 16! I rarely check wiki but just had a look.

@MonickerMonica she was very dangerous but at least it was a bit believable in Emmerdale rather than this grooming storyline in Corrie and I check fandom a lot with people and stories I don’t remember
