Christmas is close, 🎄 we've had minus temperatures for a wee while, and the darker days and sunset by 4pm is with us.

Let Undead Becky continue to bore and annoy us! Let nasty Theo continue to infuriate us! Let the potential child grooming storylines shock us! Let Carl Chuckle Brother continue to shag anything with a pulse! (And hopefully dump Abi!) AND let's get ready for Christmaaaaaaaaaas!!!!!! 🎅❄🎄

Todd situation is very uncomfortable. Wish he’d go back to Eileen’s house away from Theo who orchestrates every situation

I hope Carla sticks to her guns and Becky , Betsy and wig head Becky leave for Spain pronto .
Poor Todd - although the eating the meal they already did that kind of thing with Geoff and Yasmin ..

Theo was cooking a meal for him and Todd, and James came around (the Bailey lad who is a Personal Trainer) and he said he would give Todd a quick massage of his legs... (Not sure why, maybe Todd had asked him.. as they were a bit stiff...) So Todd lay on the floor while James 'did his work.' It was 20 minutes maybe... Theo watched.

Then James went, and Theo developed that sinister and evil look he gets when he's pissed off ... He started pulling Todd around, and accusing him of flirting with James. Then he pushed him towards a full length mirror, and said 'look at you, look at you, take a look at yourself.' Todd was just kind of frozen. Then Theo smashed Todd's head into the mirror.

Todd was pouring with blood, all down his face, and Theo saw how serious it was, and started trying to gaslight Todd into thinking it was an accident, and he was just wrestling with Todd and Todd slipped into the mirror! Todd said that's not what happened it it? They went to A & E, and Todd got patched up.

It got really dark and sinister when they got back from the hospital, as Theo ranted on and on at Todd, accused him of flirting again, said he was pissed off that he was accusing him of harming him, and went on to force Todd into eating a plate full of stone cold cooked food.

Really dark, chilling scenes tonight with these 2. Really well done.

Re: Carla and Lisa. I hope Carla stays finished with Lisa too. But I bet she doesn't. Undead Becky tried it on with Lisa and she pushed her away. Good!

Not sure what happened to Summer when she was visiting Asha. Was it to do with her diabetes I wonder....?

When did Costello get beaten up? I must have missed a bit from Wednesday's episode. I don't remember that happening!

Yeah, I was confused when Ryan popped up in Carla and Lisa's place tonight. I thought he'd left MONTHS ago. I haven't noticed him there since mid summer. And yeah, Betsy Lamb was missing tonight! Weird. She's always hanging around, trying to get Lisa and Carla to let Undead Becky stay! 🙄

It was utterly harrowing to watch! Weirdly, I could kind of see it coming, but it knocked me sideways when it happened! 😱

The Becky/Lisa/Carla/Costello situation is just a pantomime.

I also thought of Geoff/Yasmeen last night, when he forced her to eat her pet chicken.

The actor playing Todd is fantastic, but it’s very disturbing to watch. In fact, it’s probably one of the few times that Corrie actually needs one of their abundant trigger warnings.

Yes I think a trigger warning, and the 'if you've been affected by anything on the show tonight' line was very apt last night! 9 times out of 10 I don't think it's needed, and I do roll my eyes a bit sometimes.

Yes, I agree. I was sitting on the edge of my seat during last night's episode. So tense and chilling and scary. Theo is pure evil.

Yes to this too. ^ How dare Becky just waltz in to Carla and Lisa's home and do this? It's bad enough that she is constantly appearing (and staying too!) But to do something like put up the Christmas tree (a lovely, warm, intimate, personal, family thing) without Carla there was a horrible thing to do. And yes, without Betsy too. She may be 18 (I think) but she is still the child in the family. (Obviously Lisa needs calling into question about this too, as she let it happen.) Why on earth did they do it not only without Carla, but also without Betsy?!

I say I think Betsy is 18, as there's some confusion. She was introduced as a 16 year old in June 2024, but turned 18 in September 2025, so her age is a bit ambiguous.

Found last nights episode quite triggering having left an abusive marriage 15 months ago.
I could feel exactly what Todd was feeling when the lad turned up to massage his legs, he knew what this was going to do to Theo and his fear was palpable.
Some really powerful scenes tonight.

Becky needs to fuck off, but Lisa is such a wet blanket ... she is enabling all of Becky's manipulation and putting the Christmas tree up with her undead ex just 10 minutes after your fiancée walks out of your life was a dick move.

Completely agree with you about Lisa and Becky @AAudreyHorne , and I am so sorry that you were triggered last night, and for what you went through.

What was really powerful last night was that the feeling of fear felt unusual ... it used to be permanent, it was my normal. To watch last night's episode and be able to recognise that fear as abnormal shows me how far I have come and how much life has improved.

More often than not it's only once we are free of it we realise the extent of the load we were carrying. I'm glad you are in a much better place now
