Asha took an overdose, as she has been depressed and low, but she's OK (physically.) Recently been attacked by a horrible racist woman who seems to have got away with it thus far!

Brody - Kit's son - is starting to become 'nice,' like (nearly) all the bad kids do!

Tim has just met up with a woman he knew from years ago... An ex flame I think. Sally is not happy!

Jenny has left!

Bethany is back! Lost her journo job. Again!

Todd is still in a bad, toxic relationship with Theo! Lego hair.

Lisa Swain's deceased wife Becky has risen from the grave! Threatening Lisa and Carla's relationship.

Kev's brother Carl enjoys having sex - with anyone really. Abi believes that Carl loves her. He doesn't!

Tyrone's not having a good time lately! He's in a bad way after being hit by a car.

Probably some more stuff going on that I've missed.

So Tyrone is wheelchair bound and people are spending all day looking after him. He can’t take his own coat off or cut up a pizza. But then fiz gets him through the door, leaves him in the hall and trots up to bed! Where is he sleeping ?

Where does he go to the loo or wash

Pauline McLynn as the new landlady of the Rovers! Gutted if she doesn't say 'Ah go on' at least one time in the next six months (mind she's probably put it in her contract that she never has to).

She is excellent, though hopefully she's more like Tip from Jam and Jerusalem than Mrs Doyle!

It was worth watching just to see bossy Eva put in her place by her MIL. Great casting, looking forward to a bit more humour and less dreary angst heavy storylines.

I am not that keen on the new family showing up sticking their noses in everywhere. They seem to have copied this sort of entrance from EastEnders where every new character has to show up and make maximum impact immediately. Corrie used to ease people in gently.

The Asha and Mrs Doyle scene was very odd, to put it mildly.

On another note, why are they making Gemma even more repulsive? I loved the reference to her lack of foundation blending though.

I thought it odd that Asha was heading off in an ambulance rather than phoning Dr Badass or the one she had been put in touch with during her last hospital stay.

I also thought the new guy, after taking the chip from brother Chuckle and claiming it pleasant, should have taken the whole bag rather than say he should pay them a visit. That's what I'd have done
