@CRbear .. apologies I haven't watched any other episodes since the 2020 .
I guess it's just it came across that Maeve and her son lived together, there was quite a lot of focus on him.
But yes I do agree the men have children too and they are just randomly introducing a step mum

I would have thought that he’d be better matched with someone who has been on a similar journey to him. An ex drinker / party girl who is now into fitness yoga or something. As someone else says I think at worst it’s dangerous and at best probably not a great match. It feels like she’s someone he would have gone for in the past. I would have thought that he would have stipulated something like that but maybe he left it up to the ixperts
