Omg Crystal is just such a vampire. She’s so depressing and annoying. No she doesn’t like heights but she could have suggested literally anything and she would have objected / moaned/ had a problem with it .. ughhhh

I mean, it's okay to be afraid of heights, but there's a way to say it that doesn't cut the other person down.

Ah. I did think it must have something to do with spooning, but never heard that exact phrase before.

I don't do heights either, however, I am a mature adult who can calmly say "I am scared of heights so won't be trying it, however, I will be happy to watch you enjoy it for both of us".

I don’t understand how a midwife can hate touch as much as Grace seems to. Does she deliver all the babies with forceps?

She did. I can barely imagine anyone less suitable. Apart from Anne Widdecombe.

Perhaps she works in Russia where midwives just shout at you to shut up and that maybe if you didn't open your legs, you wouldn't be screaming now

I reckon she would be ice cold to the touch. Wouldn't want her icy claws near my nether regions
