Blackberry compote that's been had at by the local squirrels, a few slugs and possibly a Golden Retriever.

Halsall · 17/09/2025 20:15

I’m not sure it’s terribly hygienic to leave food uncovered on the ground in the open air? Health'n'Safety, anyone? 🤔

EsmaCannonball · 17/09/2025 20:16

littlbrowndog · 17/09/2025 20:17

Why a doughnut. Makes no sense

AutieAdult · 17/09/2025 20:17

I expect those quite a lot of vegetarian food for normal people as meat was expensive unless you were hunting hare etc.

TheDogsMother · 17/09/2025 20:18

Evening Chuffs. I come to you from foreign lands.

Yes, a lot of people had a default vegetarian/vegan diet.

And I have said it before but I do not. Mind you, I've no tried them in well over 10 year, and knowing tastebuds change as we age, that could have changed.

lettingthedaysgoby · 17/09/2025 20:18

With you there - there's a pot of Wilkins Gooseberry Jam we picked up in Tiptree with my name on it in the cupboard...

Hairnets Where are they ?

Well, now the diners have turned up I think we've found who took all the hairnets.

Halsall · 17/09/2025 20:20

Oh look, it’s like a Jane Austen/Reservoir Dogs mash-up

@Halsall Porto, at the beginning of a little Portugal tour. We live in the sticks at home with no Deliveroo, Uber or anything so I’ve just placed a Sushi delivery and am beyond excited 🤣

PotterHead1985 · 17/09/2025 20:21

Why in gods is there a donut going with a goosgog tart

EsmaCannonball · 17/09/2025 20:22

Given that desserts are often the most complicated and intensive things to make, I never understand why they are left to one lone person on these challenges.

TheDogsMother · 17/09/2025 20:23

Sam is falling apart and Hazel is getting even more efficient.

EsmaCannonball · 17/09/2025 20:23

I mean, any of us could probably be the 5th great-niece of Jane Austen.

AutieAdult · 17/09/2025 20:23

Masterchef high standards - guests are also good at acting

littlbrowndog · 17/09/2025 20:24

Cripes the blue team.

She's been really capable all through the competition. I don't know why they've given her the 'unconfident new mum' storyline.

PotterHead1985 · 17/09/2025 20:25

Do you think she near forgot the sauce?!!!

That's a measly portion of crackling
