'It's going to take a fair amount of skill, a mallet and a sharp knife.'

The phone call Olivia makes to one of her cousins when Gregg votes her off the show.'

I want Olivia to get through to this round to see if she glares at the chef there.

My mum once gave us bananas wrapped in ham in a cheese sauce

went down well with us 6 kids

Maybe she thought they were leeks?

yes maybe she thought we would like the bananas rather than the leeks. 😔

Very expensive leeks! There was something in the 80s about wrapping banana in ham, but I don’t remember cheese.

Mrs Cropley from The Vicar of Dibley?

"not kill the diners"

Unless one of them is Gregg.

bungobungobungo · 10/09/2025 20:45

@littlbrowndog 🤣

And one of them is!! Now how to make sure he gets the 'correct' plate!!

EsmaCannonball · 10/09/2025 20:46

I have a theory that these segments are filmed when the restaurants are closed and the diners are friends and family of the crew and restaurant staff.

Halsall · 10/09/2025 20:47

Theo seems a jolly nice and kind Chef

Think you are right. Some places are booked years in advance

littlbrowndog · 10/09/2025 20:48

I think he is, he’s really passionate about his food. I’ve seen him on Saturday Kitchen.

Yea i mean how the heck for a normal lunch service in London do you sort it all out when people have bog all time to spare. I know they likely pre-book so you'd be able to get releases to them in advance but it still seems like it would be too much to execute

TheDogsMother · 10/09/2025 20:50

These dishes are pretty generous

Halsall · 10/09/2025 20:50

If you were a normal punter paying normal (ie ££££) for these dishes at a prestigious restaurant you’d never agree to let these amateurs cook for you. Well, I certainly wouldn’t.

Shite no, especially if it was actual lunchtime in London and id to get back to work. Not a hope in holy hell. Soz to them and all but no. Id not expect someone to do it for me neither if I was in their place

AutieAdult · 10/09/2025 20:53

No-one goes home after this do they?

No, it's always a bit pointless. No jeopardy.

TheDogsMother · 10/09/2025 20:54
