So much going on.

Sally and Tim are foster parents for Lou and Mick's children. (Whilst Lou and Mick are in jail.)

Kit (Brody's bio dad) has been assigned desk duties at work after getting into trouble. Bernie has gone on holiday alone.

Dev has packed Aadi off to India, to live with his uncle Vikram! (As he thought Aadi was out of control!)

Tim has Mr Spock eyebrows. Sally is still a snob. 'It's a top quality hot tub!' 😆

Abi and her comedy lips is having a sordid little fling with Kevin's Chuckle brother Carl. TracyLuv is blackmailing them because she caught them smooching!

DeeDee is (unprofessionally) dating a client.

There seems to be a secret involving Swain's deceased wife Becky that Kit's boss seems to know about, but won't talk about, and it's getting annoying now. (Just tell us Corrie bosses!)

Sarah has helped the factreh make a financial loss after flirting with a potential buyer who accused her of sexual harrassment, and is now demanding a discount, (which has resulted in other buyers wanting the same discount.)

Being a bit gay is becoming compulsory, not optional, in corrie these days.

I've noticed too. I didn't want to say so though. 👀 Definitely a disproportionate amount on the street!

I like Christina .!! There ..I said it 😀😀.

I don't like her over emphasis of every sentence..but she can mellow.

We need more normal storylines , instead of everyone just jumping into bed with anyone .

She’s a beautiful woman, actually. Love how she does her make-up 🙂

I agree with you all. It’s like old Corrie was current. It had its finger on the pulse. We could all relate, it wasn’t over the top, it got it right. Watching classic from today’s point of view, it makes you wince, the storyline with Janice telling the ‘immigrants’ to go ‘back home’, is cringe now and rightly so, but then it was how many people felt. So, it was a true portrayal of current times.

Now it’s like they over egg every pudding. We live amongst a diverse world scriptwriters ! We are so used to our culture and society that we don’t need to told about gays, it’s normal. Some of us are gay, or have friends who are gay, it’s irrelevant. Catch up with your audience scriptwriters, you’re embarrassing. Trying to hard. Corrie was best when it was character led. Now the characters are diminished by sloppy old fashioned script writing.

Jonny Connors other daughter..who is Carla sister..Kate/ Faye Brookes was fantastic when I saw her in Chicago some years ago.

The funeral parlour scene didn't make sense, how could there have been an empty coffin and no body without George knowing? He's the undertaker!!

Yes, of course I knew that, meant how could Jenny have thought it would be empty.

It is sad what has become of Jenny. She was introduced in the 80s then made successful comeback after 25 years away but they have turned her into another joke character.

To make matters worse, they bring in another fine actress in Amy Robbins just so they can squabble like school girls

Sally Ann Matthews has been critical of the show, so perhaps that's why the writers are giving her crap stories.

Agree with a PP ..Christina and George would be nice together .
