Continuing from the last thread (Long hot summer of 2025!)

So much going on.

Sally and Tim are foster parents for Lou and Mick's children. (Whilst Lou and Mick are in jail.)

Kit (Brody's bio dad) has been assigned desk duties at work after getting into trouble. Bernie has gone on holiday alone.

Dev has packed Aadi off to India, to live with his uncle Vikram! (As he thought Aadi was out of control!)

Tim has Mr Spock eyebrows. Sally is still a snob. 'It's a top quality hot tub!' 😆

Abi and her comedy lips is having a sordid little fling with Kevin's Chuckle brother Carl. TracyLuv is blackmailing them because she caught them smooching!

DeeDee is (unprofessionally) dating a client.

There seems to be a secret involving Swain's deceased wife Becky that Kit's boss seems to know about, but won't talk about, and it's getting annoying now. (Just tell us Corrie bosses!)

Sarah has helped the factreh make a financial loss after flirting with a potential buyer who accused her of sexual harrassment, and is now demanding a discount, (which has resulted in other buyers wanting the same discount.)

How many children has Dev got then?
I know he’s been on the street years but the only wife I remember is the lovely lady who used to be in dinner ladies. I know her character died, & I’m sure she’s Asha & Audi’s mum. But I can’t remember children/wives before her. ( I have missed large chunks of coronation st though )

Yes, I think the only wife we have seen is Sunita (Asha and Aadi’s mum). Just going from my memory of recent-ish Classic Corrie, the only other children we have met are Amber and an older girl who had a baby herself. It was implied that Dev had a child/mulitple children with women who worked in each of his shops, so there are many more out there, but that all seems to have been forgotten about in modern Corrie.

He did mention his missing brood to Bernie after Kit had resurfaced, then he forgets about them again

Dev’s parents also vanished into the ether. They were in it when he was going to marry Geena, and we’ve never heard that they’ve died, but whenever they need an older relative for Dev they invent a new auntie or uncle.

Theo & Todd’s flat must be 2-bed as Paul lived there with Daniel and when he moved out, DeeDee moved in. Did Millie lock herself in the bathroom or bedroom?

Carl really is a nasty piece of work. And when it comes out that it was him that knocked down Tyrone, his days will be numbered!

Odd scene at start with Toyah eating in cafe behind Dev & Asha. I guess if they had her in for the day to film the bistro scene, they may as well have used her as as ‘extra’!

At least no stunning Becky in Fridays episode…

Everyone loves a few quiet moments in Roy's. Such a comfortable environment to enjoy tasty home cooking.

Yeah, I wonder what happened to Amber too. (Dev's daughter who's in Classic Corrie at the moment.) Never mentioned is she?! Or Dev's parents. Amber was in it for about 4 years too.

I also seem to remember Dev having a grandchild, as one of the 'children' he had had with one of his shop worker women (in the early noughties,) had a baby. Sunita thought she was another ex-lover with a new baby, but she was his daughter - and grandaughter. (The woman/the mum was about 20/21 years old... I think, and Dev would have been about 40.) Oddly though, I can't find anything out about it on the internet. It's very weird how he never mentions, or has anything to do with the rest of his 'children.'

I don't remember Kevin's brother at all. (From the past.) So he's here and never been mentioned before. (As far as I can remember.) Yet all the Dev children are never mentioned, except Aadi and Asha of course.

Aadi will be forgotten soon. Gary used to talk about his baby with Phelans daughter but has now forgotten. Poor Max is forgotten.

Excellent casting… even down to the fact that none of them can act for toffee!
