Continuing from the last thread (Long hot summer of 2025!)

So much going on.

Sally and Tim are foster parents for Lou and Mick's children. (Whilst Lou and Mick are in jail.)

Kit (Brody's bio dad) has been assigned desk duties at work after getting into trouble. Bernie has gone on holiday alone.

Dev has packed Aadi off to India, to live with his uncle Vikram! (As he thought Aadi was out of control!)

Tim has Mr Spock eyebrows. Sally is still a snob. 'It's a top quality hot tub!' 😆

Abi and her comedy lips is having a sordid little fling with Kevin's Chuckle brother Carl. TracyLuv is blackmailing them because she caught them smooching!

DeeDee is (unprofessionally) dating a client.

There seems to be a secret involving Swain's deceased wife Becky that Kit's boss seems to know about, but won't talk about, and it's getting annoying now. (Just tell us Corrie bosses!)

Sarah has helped the factreh make a financial loss after flirting with a potential buyer who accused her of sexual harrassment, and is now demanding a discount, (which has resulted in other buyers wanting the same discount.)

Sorry if I've left anything out!

.

(I preferred being green !)

I don't really get Theo's custody hearing, his kids are old enough to pretend to be pregnant and fight in the street with vicars so surely they old enough to know whether they want to see him or not.

eggandonion · 18/09/2025 23:31

Theos daughter who might be called Milly looks about 25. Theo should just go home, we don't need him.

My thoughts exactly. They must be 15/16, no judge is going to order them to spend time with their Dad.

If it's ad lib .the Ruby and Hope actresses are very good with him .

Did anyone else notice that Ruby’s had a sudden growth spurt? She’s taller than Hope now!

It is tricky as it is obvious the actors look at least 18

They could at least have told us, even during Millie's fake pregnancy nobody shouted you are only ???teen like they usually do but if she had been under 16 they would have made more of a fuss about knowing the father.

Thistooshallpass. · 19/09/2025 16:35

Dorrin has shown the finest acting skills on the street at this point .

Deadringer · 19/09/2025 18:19

Dorrin was so funny when he was banging the drum and laughing, made me lol.

Like Tim's mum who supported Yasmeen. Tim has forgotten his Mum.

What happened to her?

TellingBone · 19/09/2025 20:41

Todd's in for a nasty lesson later tonight

EachandEveryone · 19/09/2025 20:46

Oh god that story line is horrid I hope they don’t drag it out.

Gingercar · 19/09/2025 20:48

Why do they have to have karaoke every other episode??? Boring!!

zanahoria · 19/09/2025 21:03

I am not sure what Becky even wants now, asides from to keep coming round and having the same boring conversation.

At least she knocked this time

thenightsky · 19/09/2025 21:22

At least she knocked this time

Yes, that just appearing like an apparition in the middle of Lisa and Carla having a conversation was just weird.

EachandEveryone · 19/09/2025 21:26

She’s creepy

Gingercar · 19/09/2025 22:25

Send her off with Theo.

Gingercar · 19/09/2025 22:26

She’ll be in bed with Carl in Debbie’s hotel next week!

JellyBeanSpring25 · 19/09/2025 23:09

Some good scenes tonight - all with Maureen Lipman. First the bickering around Tyrone’s bed with Cassie (and I liked Cassie’s line “anything I can pinch?”), then in the Bistro with Cassie and finally sat in the Rovers with Roy & Brian, reminiscing Warner brothers cartoons - and Fred Elliot.

The rest was crap. Do fuck off Becky, no one cares, not even Betsy anymore.

strugglingwithlife · 19/09/2025 23:21

I love Maureen Lipman, she's brilliant.
Lisa's reaction to first seeing Becky was far more believable then Betsey's.
Todd should dump Theo's arse, nasty abusive piece of shit

carmak · 19/09/2025 23:22

If your just returned from the dead mother is downstairs, would you really be upstairs doing your homework?

Then there's the biggest mystery of all, how did Roy recognise Becky from her photo, and why is he in such a strop over it?

JellyBeanSpring25 · 20/09/2025 00:17

I’m guessing Roy is in a strop because he cannot lie! Deceit does not sit well with Royston.

Empress13 · 20/09/2025 01:42

i cannot believe that Becky is so devoid of emotion and remorse not one tear when she saw Lisa again for the first time. The actress playing her is awful so wooden and surely Lisa who is pretty would have gone for someone a little more glamorous not so plain Carla is more up her street looks wise. Getting annoyed with Todd now grow a pair and leave the Ken Doll he’s deranged! I’m imagining the court case will go against him and poor Todd will end up next to Tyrone in hospital bed ! Liked the reference to Fred Elliot blast from the past I say blast from the past !!

WiddlinDiddlin · 20/09/2025 04:02

I think Gareth Pierce is doing a great job with the Todd/Theo abuse stuff though...

Reckon he's really done a bit of studying the script, the behaviour patterns - he's worried about Theo's return, even though Theo's seeming to be nice, he's on pins and not sure which way its going to go, dreading everyone going... but also sort of not wanting them to because of what might happen when they do...

He's made a huge mistake moving in with him, at least at Eileens he had some sort of sway, it being his Mums house, plus other people living there. I thought an episode or so back, he seemed very keen to go back to his Mums and Theo wouldn't have it.

The kid custody thing is horse shit though, they're too old, that would work if they were 5 and 6, but not 15/16.

heartmatters · 20/09/2025 05:57

online indicates that Millie is 15. Born 2010 but I can’t find what her real year of birth is.

Betsy isn't at school. She doesn't have homework.
