Continuing from the last thread (Long hot summer of 2025!)

So much going on.

Sally and Tim are foster parents for Lou and Mick's children. (Whilst Lou and Mick are in jail.)

Kit (Brody's bio dad) has been assigned desk duties at work after getting into trouble. Bernie has gone on holiday alone.

Dev has packed Aadi off to India, to live with his uncle Vikram! (As he thought Aadi was out of control!)

Tim has Mr Spock eyebrows. Sally is still a snob. 'It's a top quality hot tub!' 😆

Abi and her comedy lips is having a sordid little fling with Kevin's Chuckle brother Carl. TracyLuv is blackmailing them because she caught them smooching!

DeeDee is (unprofessionally) dating a client.

There seems to be a secret involving Swain's deceased wife Becky that Kit's boss seems to know about, but won't talk about, and it's getting annoying now. (Just tell us Corrie bosses!)

Sarah has helped the factreh make a financial loss after flirting with a potential buyer who accused her of sexual harrassment, and is now demanding a discount, (which has resulted in other buyers wanting the same discount.)

Yes, can’t stand Theo. I don’t like his character, but you get them irl too so that’s part of the storyline, but his acting is ATROCIOUS, always has been from the beginning.

As long as Carl doesn't hurt Debbie, he can have his pick.

Problem with Theo is that he never seemed to have any redeeming qualities. Sure, they went in way too fast with his temper. But even discounting that, it's hard to accept that Todd sees anything in the bloke. Same with Carl, really. Sleazy and untrustworthy from the off. Entirely resistible.

Wasn't/isn't Carl's intention to get his hairy mitts on Debbie's money? He might be targeting Ronnie next to get him out of the picture. Whatever it is he needs dealing with severely. Preferably with a sharp object where the sun don't shine.

Todd always used to be quite smart and also completely cynical, they have given him a personality transplant for this plot. It is starting to annoy me that all their issues plots result in someone becoming a complete victim. Couldn't we have had one where a character is sharp enough to see through manipulation and act accordingly? It would still raise the issue and they could have some drama in Theo's reaction but still show Todd coping. We almost got there the other week but Theo wormed his back.

I can't imagine original Todd doing the story line.

Dylan was driving the car that nearly hit Betsy but was it Carl that ran over Tyrone when Dylan was at the hospital and therefore his alibi?

Hate Theo and Becky.

Todd does say that quite often as well!

I suspect it will be revealed that he was physically and emotionally abusive to his wife. If that proves true, I would guess that she might become an ally to Todd.

Like Tim's mum who supported Yasmeen. Tim has forgotten his Mum.

I think Dylan & Brodie stole the car (when George saw Dylan driving) and then left it in a backstreet for Carl to collect. They were going home when Brodie then had seizure so went to the hospital.
Carl went to pick up the car and was driving it to wherever (Fiona?) when he hit Tyrone.

Carl then torched it to cover his tracks.

So the boys stole it initially but didn’t have anything to do with the hit & run.

I really didn’t like Todd when he first arrived back on the street ( as this Todd ) he was really horrible actually. trying all sorts of ways to split Paul & Billy up. But then George took him under his wing and he became really nice & sensible. He’s one of my favorite characters now. Not sure why he’s putting up with Theo & all his issues, as he couldn’t be further from Billy if he tried, but he’s ‘hot’ ( Todd’s words ) so maybe that’s all it is?

Hopefully not a spoiler but Dorin tonight is extra cute. 😍
