Continuing from the last thread (Long hot summer of 2025!)

So much going on.

Sally and Tim are foster parents for Lou and Mick's children. (Whilst Lou and Mick are in jail.)

Kit (Brody's bio dad) has been assigned desk duties at work after getting into trouble. Bernie has gone on holiday alone.

Dev has packed Aadi off to India, to live with his uncle Vikram! (As he thought Aadi was out of control!)

Tim has Mr Spock eyebrows. Sally is still a snob. 'It's a top quality hot tub!' 😆

Abi and her comedy lips is having a sordid little fling with Kevin's Chuckle brother Carl. TracyLuv is blackmailing them because she caught them smooching!

DeeDee is (unprofessionally) dating a client.

There seems to be a secret involving Swain's deceased wife Becky that Kit's boss seems to know about, but won't talk about, and it's getting annoying now. (Just tell us Corrie bosses!)

Sarah has helped the factreh make a financial loss after flirting with a potential buyer who accused her of sexual harrassment, and is now demanding a discount, (which has resulted in other buyers wanting the same discount.)

Oh I didn’t like Sabrina at all .. couldn’t act for toffee. Her brother was good though.

I think Tiny, the long forgotten horse, runs the window cleaning company.

What did happen to Tiny? I vaguely remember something. Was he sent to a glue factory?

You’d have thought Becky would’ve spruced herself up a bit for the big reappearance! 😄

So now instead of it being the Carla and Lisa show, it’s now going to be the Carla, Lisa, Becky and Betsy show 🥱

Is Becky wearing a wig as part of her witness protection or are we meant to think it's her own hair?

I wondered that. She could have passed as Hayley’s love child.

She has been kitted out in the bog standard uniform that Corrie uses for neer do wells - hoodie and baseball cap so definitely not to be trusted.

She keeps coming across as shifty and downright obnoxious. Lisa asks her questions but gets answers like "it doesn't matter" and it is obvious she is still covering stuff up and the truth is being dragged out of her. Either that or she is rambling on about Teddy Bear Wood or the Hockey Girls.

She said something about Lisa always hating her with short hair, so I think it’s meant to be real.

Is it going to be weeks of dragging the (boring) story out of Becky now?

I’d like to answer no, but I suspect we’d both end up disappointed 😬

We can look forward to a few more rounds of the classic soap refrain of

"you lied to me"

"I was protecting you"

which will morph into tedious arguing about whether Betsy should know. Then various other people will find out, Roy will be round with his new glasses and holdall again. He will accuse Carla of lying, she will answer that she was protecting him. Then various others will find out before Betsy makes a random visit to Debbie Webster's hotel and discover Becky in bed with Carl, probably James as well. After recovering from the shock of her dead Lesbian mum in bed with two blokes they will have the "you lied to me" "I was protecting you" talk for about half an hour. Meanwhile Lisa will be accosting Costello with the same lines.

If only there was a filter system for watching TV, like a drop down box "show all scenes with so and so", "hide all scenes with characters you don't care about".

I think Carla is being too reasonable and understanding, after all Swain said Becky was the love of her life. I’d find it hard to take that if I was Carla.

Blimey, no need to torture Carla for information, is there? A little light questioning and she's out with it.

I like them using underworld boxes to move house. Moving house is not a good idea...3 months of misery until Christmas.
