Yes, no idea. Hence Daren putting Paris. He didn't know that was the first destination.

The destination board in episode 1 ends in Rome but the first three destinations are blanked out which might show the real finalmdestination

I’m thinking Rome. Loads of question cards have had that map which shows all roads lead to Rome on them. Long way to go though. And makes the show rather Italy heavy

Numbers on last night were 5829. So 4136, I thought latitude. However the latitude of Monaco is 43N 74E. 58N 29E would be Norway and Shetland so that rules that out.

I'm so looking forward to the final destination tonight. Have enjoyed the show.

Interesting that when Saskia and Josh were looking at the racing car, Josh mentioned the Paul Ricard racing circuit in France - past French GP venue and not that far away as still in the south...but I wonder if he was trying to mislead Saskia at that point or simply hadn't considered Monaco yet? Either way, they both guessed Monaco.

The Penelope Cruz picture links to Barcelona - Vicky Cristina Barcelona. As none of them knew who she was, I'm not holding out any hope that that's a specifically useful clue other than she's Spanish.

I did spot the F1 clue last night but probably it'd already been worked out on here. Not sure if the contestants saw that anyway.

I'll be disappointed if it's Rome - feels a bit dull to have three destinations in one country.

Maybe they'll stop in Marseille en route to Barcelona. Maybe all the clues for Rome are red herrings? This is why it's a frustrating quiz. Rob Brydon didn't even mention the Leon clue last night in the clues round up.

The latitude of Rome is 41.89. Sorry if I seem obsessed with the numbers but they must be there for a reason. Latitude of Barcelona is 41.38.

Do the contestants know that, though? They don't know where their last location was and the clues aren't explained to them afterwards, as far as I can make out.

You might have thought the collection of runes/patterns might have in themselves been a clue rather than a memory game.

Some different skills are called for - memory, anagram solving, observation, lateral thinking but the actual task takes over and the red herrings are obscure! It's not very satisfying viewing really.

So Daren thought it was Paris because of the Louvre/Mona Lisa pic but he didn't read the caption or do the convoluted mental gymnastics to work out 'Mona -co'. Can't blame him but surely you can't travel that far from Pisa? They all knew they were starting in northern Italy. I think Judith didn't have time to share her thoughts about the French Riviera before they had to do the Map Room.

Completely agree that it feels like a not fully-formed idea. The clues are frustratingly contrived. It would be nice if there were more natural clues (I noticed a sign behind them when they were doing a task in the mine, it was probably for health and safety or something but if it was in French that would be a clue). It would be better if they went to more obscure locations but were given a chance to look around (without speaking to people) and come up with their own clues as to where they were. Then more footage of them talking through their thought processes.

As unpopular as they are I would like Josh or Saskia to win. They are the better players and deserve it. Judith and Daren weren’t that good at the game and so I’d find it a bit disappointing if Judith won.

I liked the actors prancing about the place in a street. Can we have them back for the final show?

I thought Leon and Ma say were just clues they were in France - Lyon and Marseille. Elle is French for she.

I’d like Saskia to win. She’s definitely the best at working out the clues. Judith has missed loads and read things wrongly.

Saskia has appeared to be quite spot on with things, even when she didn't have many clues (Pisa for example). She's either a plant, eavesdropping on the producers, very very lucky or very very smart.

31 days ago- so they must have stopped in hotels at destinations along the way.
