Bloody hell, we were in Avignon this summer - could have gone to those mines if we'd known about them.

DH half watches this with me and keeps muttering ‘such a bellend’ whenever Josh is on.

I really can’t see another series being commissioned. I’ve enjoyed watching it but the games are quite woeful and there are a finite number of very obvious locations and contestants will struggle to guess where they are. Can you imagine being stuck for hours at a time on a bus with no view?!

Much as I like Judith, I do think sassy Saskia deserves to win.

Yes, they had to do a lot of editing at the end there to keep us guessing - basically not showing the game - or the second map room - till the reveal because...there was no game or 2nd map room!

Also, I wish they would show some people having some speculative correct guesses before the map room. Saskia and Josh MUST have mooted Monaco when they saw the toy car, but it wasn't til the map room they suddenly came out with it, which makes you think, hey where did that come from? and looks a little sus.

It's been on in other countries too, I think the French have had at least 2 series. It does feel uneven though.

See o can see another series happening. Just a few tweaks to the challenges. I also think there should be an after show show and a celebrity version

Good excuse to go back @SwedishEdith. Then you can also tick off Nimes, Arles, L’isle sur la sorgue, pont du gard, Aix en Provence, Valensole, Moustiers Saint Marie and the Gorge du Verdon if you haven’t already been to those!

I think Josh and Saskia both knew but weren’t saying because they hoped the other one wouldn’t know.

Mr Toast told me at the weekend that he'd nearly applied for Destination X when the casting call went out! He only didn't do it because he thought he'd never get enough time off work. He'd have absolutely smashed it. He hasn't watched every episode, but he's a real lateral thinker, very methodical and practical, and he's got every destination he's seen spot on.

Well done to the poster that said Monaco. I've been there, it's a spectacular place but all the money in the world wouldn't entice me to live there. Nope 👎
