The report I read said that the levels were minuscule and were consistent with being a component in a cream used for healing. So all seems legit. He was punished because the player is responsible even if he has no knowledge - his team’s actions = his actions in the eyes of WADA.
I think it’s a legit explanation - and I was totally prepared to think otherwise. The physio was sacked I believe.
But my brain always goes “oh Sinner, the drug cheat” even though it does seem like an accidental and trivial contagion!
