I really don’t mind who wins, I think they’re both brilliant. But if I had to pick one it would be Carlos. Enjoying it immensely. Agree about the old commentators, Maskell’s “oh I say” at Borg was the stuff of legends.

I’m a Carlos fan and would like to see him get his triple and match Borg’s double double but I enjoy watching Sinner and that would be a new name on the trophy. So team Carlos but like both players

I’m slightly put off Jannik by the doping ban. May be unfair but I see him a bit differently now

I prefer Carlos but I do like Jannik as well. It does seem like Jannik has the upper hand here, his serve has been so solid. But after RG we know not to count Carlos out.

I'd love Jannik to win, partly because it would be a great morale boost after RG, partly because the reporting / match lead-up has been so skewed towards Carlos.

Also annoyed that his ban keeps being mentioned on BBC, when Iga's isn't and he was found not to be personally at fault.

Kyrgios has been saying it looks bad to have two finalists with doping bans so he’s been talking about Iga. It’s Kyrgios though sooo

Exactly- he took the ban, without arguing it, having already (like iga) served a shorter ban- when found not to be at fault. And they are still going on about it.

Well, Kyrgios is a domestic abuser who actually pleaded guilty to assault in court.
I don't really care what he thinks of anything. And I know which offence I find worse....

I am watching in Italy and the ad breaks are annoying me as they are all Sinner’s sponsorship deals! So far we’ve had Sinner selling pasta, suncream, energy drink, coffee..... It’s putting me right off him. 😆
