I don't like Rishi as an interviewer, ever since he asked Rafa if he would be coming back the next year (as though he shouldn't bother) after he'd just lost a 4th round match. He'd only just lost! (and qualified for the semi finals the next 3 times he played).

Rafa was suitably scathing in response, I'm glad to say.

These interviews make me crings at the best of times but what was ths point of making Sinner do that?

I’m really not liking the awkward post-match interview set-up at all. It often seems to detract from the wonderful tennis experience we’ve all just watched together. Maybe it’s partly the gaucheness of the interviewers?

What can they say. Usually it's say how great the other person was, and how great Wimbledon is plus the crowd.

Hate on-court interviews - and there was no point in putting Jannik through that. Everyone was feeling horrible and there was nothing else he could say.

Edit: Post-match interviews are bad enough but at Wimbledon at least they used to be off court, so the players had a chance to catch their breath. I assume they just didn't bother changing back post COVID.

I did like Cobolli’s interview though - they are quite entertaining before they get too corporate

Flávio’s was lovely Fizzy and I was thinking how far he’s come since he used to hate public speaking but now he looks so confident out there

If the player has no personality then the interview is as dull as hell
Why is the interviewer standing about 100m away? Wimbledonnever used to do on court interviews so no idea why they were introduced. I'm sure the players hate them..

Yes he was really confident and sweet Jane - I still remember him playing Rafa a few years ago and he looked like a rabbit caught in the headlights - he’s come a long way

I remember that Rafa/Cobolli match. Seems like ages ago- and was only last year! One of the last Rafa played.

I was getting SO annoyed watching that match. He kept talking about her dad, like they were best mates and didn't once get her name right.

I think he did say Trinity the first time but then switched to Tiffany and kept going on about what a character her dad is

Something tells me AC may not be commentating on the next Shelton match.

Honestly, the first time, I thought it was a slip of the tongue- and he kept doing it. All the way til after the match.

AC is a national embarrassment. She is spot on with her comments.

I know, he was pretty obnoxious about Lorenzo, and all the shot clock comments.

It was a very irritating match, commentary wise- and AC obviously thought he was Ben's biggest fan, and part of the 'inner circle' (like he seems to do with all of them).

Fact is, I think they all think he's a jerk.

It didn't help that the camera's were very intrusive in the match -I felt like they were on Trinity a lot.

So well done that woman for calling out the whole thing.
