I would definitely have to leave before a Djok 'celebration '( he might not win !)
The rest of the order of players looks good- though it could be a one sided match for Sinner.
I'm not a fan of Collins- and there is no love lost between her and Iga, so it could produce an interesting match.

Over on No1- Barbora playing Emma Navarro is another possible upset( though Emma is the higher ranked player so not sure it would be).

From a British women's player point of view- yesterday's results are interesting because Sonay Kartal moves above Emma- and should she beat Pavlyuchenkova, she will be the British no1. I almost hope she does. I like what I've seen of her, and she doesn't seem to be taking any of the wins for granted.

Now, Sonay is only 5ft 4 too. But I don't think that has been mentioned in commentary nearly as much as when Jasmine plays! (But I think that's a particular obsession of Chrissie's ).

Yes it’s all still about Emma even though she lost - Cam and Sonay are both quite happy to be going under the radar though

I’ve been really impressed by Sonay this Wimbledon - I think she’s come back from being a few games down in all of her matches and she seems very down to earth

5 foot 4 is a good height (although not for trying to watch tennis on an outside court!) Jasmine did look smaller than Sonay in real life (don’t tell Chrissie )

I think Cam is out to prove he's not gone away yet,(not all the focus has been on Jack) and Sonay is enjoying herself without the pressure. Which is as it should be. She's a bit older that Emma was at the start, maybe more confident about voicing her own opinions on how her career is managed.

Exactly- once the British media latch onto her, they will have her name on that Rose Bowl before you can spell 'Kartal'.

She's doing really well, and has a positive attitude. This is a good stepping stone for the rest of the year. But she doesn't need the added of pressure of Isa deciding she's going to win it now...

Annabel Croft saying that Rybakina is a bit miffed to be on an outside court. It’s a bit of a snub as she is a former champion and is genuinely a contender.

I think Rybakina has been quietly going through the rounds Majestic with little fanfare- it's like she's been forgotten. It might help her , really. She's struggled over the past year, so it could be a good thing to be under the radar a bit. But I get why she feels a bit slighted.
