Don't spend all your money in the shop - probably best to not start drinking Pimms before the matches start (my days of being able to do that are long gone, I would be asleep by 12.30).

I hope, after all this waiting, they go to the match on no.1 court at 1pm when it starts - and don't carry on waffling and miss the first few games (like they usually do).

The covers are off - the umpire is here, the ballkids are out - fingers crossed the players will be on soon

I’m sat on the side of the players chairs - hopefully I won’t be on the telly as my hair is not liking these humid conditions!

I've just noticed the colour of the towels- now, I think they are turquoise/ aquamarine green. (The Wimbledon shop describes them as aqua/sky).
