Old thread full.
I'd forgotten about Buddy, bless him.
We must be getting rid of Eliza soon?
Baby Archie has grown a couple of months in a few episodes!

Agree on the Amelia stuff its so odd. They are far too invested in their dads love life. In reality i think amelia would hot foot it out of summer bay and be grateful she got away!

@Crinkle77 I don’t know how Sonny has suddenly had the money for an engagement ring.

Yeah very odd considering that he was stealing from Remi not so long ago. And his drug dealing career doesn't seem to be going too well either so not like he'd be making a packet from that either.

My God I wish Jo, Lacey etc...would stop harassing Amelia about David especially at work. It's very weird especially as nothing has actually happened between them. They all need to butt out! And Levi's reaction to the news she's leaving is very odd. She was only supposed to come for a set time anyway and it's the hospital's responsibility to organise another locum whilst Levi is off sick. All very strange, hate this storyline and Amelia and David have zero chemistry.

And where did Sonny get the money for an engagement ring all of a sudden?

Edited

Amelia and David have zero chemistry? Sorry but you need to get to specsavers. They are being called 'Damelia' and people are shipping the couple hard. As most are saying, never has there been a couple where the chemistry is way off the beeping charts! They are the new power couple. Thankfully together now in Australia.

This is not the spoilers thread, however predictable the outcome.

strugglingwithlife · 28/08/2026 13:18

Absolutely hate Beau. I hope he's gone soon

When cash was questioning beau about steroids I was thinking of course he’s on steroids! Now I appreciate I’m confusing real life with soap life

Poor Harper. She’s played that well.

sc0ttishlass · 29/08/2026 16:45

Thought the tension in the last episode with Beau Harper and Tane was fantastic. Tbh more tension filled than anything I can imagine it it for years..

Rummikub · 29/08/2026 18:18

Totally agree. Beau is v sinister.
I also noticed the subtle nod he sauce to his goons in the surf club.

Whatthetrolley · 31/08/2026 16:00

Beau is awful, can't repeat the word that came out of my mouth when he hit Harper. I've seen today's (tomorrow's? ) episode and I bloody love Cash!

PrincessScarlett · 31/08/2026 19:29

I actually cried tonight at first look episode. Are we allowed to talk about first look as it's been aired?

Rummikub · 31/08/2026 21:33

Yes as it’s been aired

sc0ttishlass · 31/08/2026 22:21

I think harper has been fantastic and also did cry here! Great acting

PrincessScarlett · 31/08/2026 22:23

Beau was really sinister when he said in front of Cash and David that he'd kill Harper and her boy. Cash and Tane were excellent. As was Harper. Cried when Beau told her all he'd done was love her and that noone else would ever love her. Harper is so desperate for true love ☹️ I wonder whether Tane is going to fall in love with Harper after all or whether he's still hung up on Jo (although he actually seems to be so over Jo).

Also felt a little emotional over Dana and Sonny. I used to find Dana annoying but she's become my favourite character I think. Actually, they all seem to really act their socks off when they have emotional storylines rather than the more light hearted stuff. I felt the same briefly about Justin when Theo died but that didn't last long 😂

Sagealicious · 31/08/2026 22:27

I really love the close bond that John and Dana have.

I like Dana too. I think she’s beautiful as well.

Harper’s acting was heart breaking. And I was shocked when beau threatened to kill her and Archie. And that hug Tane gave her and told her she was safe. I could do with one of those!

Me too.
At this point id welcome a hug from John palmer too but my emotional state is questionable rn.

FeralWoman · 02/09/2026 07:58

I went and checked out the Back To The Bay website to find out about upcoming storylines and characters leaving and arriving. Some interesting things coming up. If you look at the website it’s full of spoilers so don’t do it unless you’re okay with spoilers!

The domestic violence storyline between Harper and Beau has been both shocking and really good. That slap across her face. That shocked me. Normally Harper annoys me but she’s been good in this one. The actor playing Beau does evil really well. Creepily well.

strugglingwithlife · 03/09/2026 14:01

They love a medical emergency. We've had Sonny and Jo injured in the train crash, Tane in a coma, Mack losing her baby, Levi falling off a cliff, now Eden collapsing.

OP posts:
Rummikub · 03/09/2026 21:25

Where Eden collapsed wasn’t that where flick died?

FeralWoman · 04/09/2026 01:47

Rummikub · 03/09/2026 21:25

Where Eden collapsed wasn’t that where flick died?

Yes. Well, it’s where Flick collapsed. She died in hospital when Cash agreed to life support being withdrawn.

PrincessScarlett · 04/09/2026 22:49

Poor Cash. Dreadful coincidence having Eden collapse out of nowhere just like when Felicity died. Why can't we ever have a happy couple? Hopefully Eden will be ok. I know someone with aplastic amenia and although they had a horrendous year or so with treatment they are doing ok now.

As for Beau being let out given everything he has done, it's like Lacey and Holden all over again.

FeralWoman · 10/09/2026 07:12

It’s weird when Jo is the less annoying sister and Lacey is the more annoying sister. Even weirder when it happens in multiple episodes. Not going to say what the storyline is. Just the difference in Jo not being so bloody annoying.

I’m enjoying the David and Amelia storyline. I think there’s chemistry between them. It’s more restrained and more realistic than we normally see on the show. It’s not instant sexual attraction and not having sex immediately for a change. Maybe I’m influenced by liking the Amelia actress from her role in Doctor Doctor. I like that the Amelia character is willing to tell others to mind their own business, and that she’s smart and capable.

PrincessScarlett · 11/09/2026 21:19

I'm also enjoying the David and Amelia romance. I like that it's addressing David struggling with having feelings for another woman after losing his wife. It's showing a vulnerable side to David which is making me really like his character. And it's quite funny that he's so completely useless at flirting e.g. "do you like meat?" 🤣

FeralWoman · 12/09/2026 05:04

@PrincessScarlett Yes, it’s showing a different side to him. It’s taken a long time for me to warm up to his character. It’s definitely showing a more human side of him.
