Old thread full.
I'd forgotten about Buddy, bless him.
We must be getting rid of Eliza soon?
Baby Archie has grown a couple of months in a few episodes!

thanks

Are Western Australia happy with their portrayal?

Some of it looked beautiful but alot of it looked bleak.

FeralWoman · 30/04/2026 13:38

If I was WA I’d be thrilled with the portrayal. I haven’t heard anything but that’s the other side of the country to me. If tourism bookings go up and more tourism dollars go into the state they’ll be happy.

strugglingwithlife · 30/04/2026 15:50

It's made me want to go back to Australia even more, I just wish I could afford to. It really is paradise, best place on earth imo

That sea!

Is it the Indian Ocean?

EBearhug · 30/04/2026 22:48

Dana said something like, don't you remember me, when we worked together, and the doctor ignored her. So there must be some backstop which will come out at some point.

I just think she wouldn't remember a lowly nurse. She remembered Levi because he was a doctor but she'd probably not remember anyone more junior as they would be insignificant to her. It's a shame they couldn't have a brilliant female expert in the field that was 'normal' instead of someone that comes across as a bit of a cow and a cold kettle of fish.

EBearhug · 08/05/2026 16:58

So, John Palmer has been in H&A since 2009.
Brax was there 2011-2016.

I'm not buying it that after 10 years, he didn't recognise Brax at all, especially as he had run-ins with the River Boys, and they used the gym etc. It's not like Brax looks very different.

(I am still on Thursday at the moment.)

PrincessScarlett · 08/05/2026 22:54

And considering Brax is meant to be keeping a low profile you'd think he'd grow a beard or at least wear a hat and sunglasses.

EBearhug · 13/05/2026 18:15

What sort of useless police do they have in Summer Bay/Yabbie Creek (this is obviously a rhetorical question,) that they didn't search the whole room/house to see if there were any other stashes of drugs, or indeed baby monitors or other security devices that might have picked up evidence?

thecatdidit · 14/05/2026 13:06

God I've been saying about a baby monitor for ages to my DH. Why didn't Tane, Harper or absolutely anyone think about it?
The police carried out a search as well. This sort of thing really winds me up!

PrincessScarlett · 14/05/2026 13:24

It was obvious the baby monitor would be crucial as there was an abnormally long linger on it some weeks back which I pointed out on here. It's infuriating that the police didn't search the whole house in the first place. No doubt it will drag on and on as Casey has now supposedly broken the baby monitor 🤦🏻‍♀️

Rummikub · 22/05/2026 19:04

Subtitles saying ominous music was a good predictor. Cant see them killing off tane surely.

EBearhug · 28/05/2026 18:12

I laughed out loud when Cash told the new cop he should keep a clear boundary between his personal and professional life.

We'd be left with about 2 H&A storylines in its entire history, if everyone in Summer Bay did that!

Rummikub · 30/05/2026 01:58

Yes I laughed at that too.

And at how the new constable’s cheeks shook when he forcefully signalled Alf to pull in.

PrincessScarlett · 30/05/2026 16:11

I'm liking Cash being all annoyed with the new cop. He's normally so controlled 🤣 Do we think the new cop is going to be dodgy with his excitement over gun use?

Rummikub · 30/05/2026 18:19

I did wonder that the new cop is trigger happy. Or hiding something as when Abby asked him out his face was a bit odd.

FeralWoman · 31/05/2026 10:01

A few weeks ahead but can confirm that Jo is still annoying. No change there. She’s just not a likeable character.

EBearhug · 31/05/2026 10:38

Please go to a spoilers thread if you want to talk about stuff weeks ahead of our showing.

Lol, it’s not a spoiler. There’s been discussion in here numerous times about how annoying Jo is. I doubt her character will ever be anything other than annoying.

EBearhug · 31/05/2026 16:45

It sort of is a spoiler. It means she won't be getting run down next week by a River Boy looking for Brax which some might have hoped for.

strugglingwithlife · 19/06/2026 12:43

Today's episode got me 😢

I don't know why they are heaping all this misery on Mackenzie and Levi. It's really cruel and doesn't really highlight the issue at all. We all know women go through this all the time. Well I certainly know of several women unfortunately.

Rummikub · 19/06/2026 13:29

As soon as Mac agreed to the baby shower I thought uh oh.
I went through this and from the trailer clip (“how did I not know”) resonated with what I felt.

Ate they setting up Lacey and Mali to be together?

Crinkle77 · 20/06/2026 12:38

I said a few weeks back I think they're setting up Mali and Lacey. But he's turned in to such a dick I don't want them to get together.

Eden doing my head in insisting she wants to go to the hospital. I mean Levi and Mack are going through the most awful pain but it's such a private time. Why did she think it was appropriate to storm over there. Thank God Cash stopped her.

And the new cop looking up Cash's file. Surely that would be highly confidential information which only senior ranking officers would be able to access. I'd have well grassed him up if I was Cash. Also the obsession that he seems to have with shooting someone, when he asked Cash if he's ever used his gun. Surely that would set alarm bells ringing?

EBearhug · 20/06/2026 20:35

Yes. I'm not a cop, but that's irrelevant- this is just an HR thing. It is normal to be able to see only the records of people below you in your direct reporting line, unless you're in HR, and even then you can only look with a valid reason, not just for being nosy.
